A basket was added, but there are no chain curtains or armor modifications. It’s painful to watch my beloved tank die.

The Dev server just started, i think rn its when gaijin does a lot of stuff like balancing tanks etc,
COULD we pls get this fixes its been 3 years since it was accepted, the most greedy part is that a report that was accepted 3 years ago its been ignored, but nerfing that tank (Talking about adding it a turret basket silently) seems good…
Could we see some news on this?? whats the point of playing the merkava rn if the abrams its getting the trophy?? having 30km/h of more reverse speed?? i cant belive this

That’s so true. It’s been ages being on a chopping block and now as a crappy band-aid we’re getting another Leopard by Greece, no offence to Greece but this leopard spam is unacceptable, model armor for more than 2 nations! We don’t need more pretty plane x-ray models we need actual armor modeled!

thats not the sole reason greece is being added? greeces has plenty of unique stuff especially light tanks/ifvs and spaas which israel is in desperate need of.
either way, greece is being added whether you like it or not. lmao. gaijin has made up their mids, Its not like you have much of a say.
israel is literally the most “irrelevant” techtree in the game, hardly anyone plays it in the first place.
most of the tree is nothing but copypaste.
Doesn’t mean the top tier for Isreal should suddenly become “leopard” such as france.
Have we seen any mention of these IFVs and lights? Also Isreal does have it’s own they just refuse to add them,.

Tree’s got plenty of unique versions of MBT.
As well as their Air tree, and the merkavas themselves.

its the same 3 mbts being spammed with sligtly more era added armour and maybe a extra .50 on the turret than the previous one.
then you get to the merkavas which can be said the same, really.
same for their jets even which israel lacks hard compared to other nations when it comes to air. especially higher tiers.

also most complaints i have seen arent about greece being added but it being added to israel, they dont want to touch that tree in the first place.
it isnt. greece will either come within the next two updates after this one. (within 2026 probs)
which greece has its own modfied or full on “domestic” versions ones such as the leo2A6hel
which would probably be one of the better leos in the game.

Merkava mk3 VS the Mk1s is a massive difference, more armour, not ERA.

- stabilisation
- FCS improvements.
- Cannon improvements
- mobility changes.

Isreals jets are pretty damn good from what i’ve used so far lol. Not quite at top tier for them yet though still got to get through rank 7.

Merkavas as well have substantial jumps in performance between each iteration.

That was not what i meant, Gaijin stated that they’re adding Greece to Israel because of lack of rank 9 vehicles(for some odd reason they don’t want to add F15IA like they did with theoretical F2A), same probably for ground as their balancing for non major nation, in my view, looks like this: “This nation suffers at top tier because of lack of strong equipment due to our refusal to model it… HEY VLADIMIR, ROLL OUT THE LEOPARD WE MODELED AGES AGO” France, Italy, Japan everywhere is Leo. I don’t mind Greece, I’m not racist like a lot of people who are disgusted by idea of being in an Israeli tree, i mind when there is Leopard spam everywhere instead of buffing nation’s signature tank.

That’s just racist. While yes there are a few unique airframes/tanks in the tree it doesn’t mean that it just shouldn’t exist. For one, it has, or had till gaijin started giving it out to other nations dilly-dally, unique mechanics such as APS/Spice/Spikes/Early ERA that are very competitive(in theory). For two, Israel has one of the most legendary airforces in the world, I’m sure you’ve seen or at least heard of the “Top Gun Maverick” and battle-proven army, this isn’t a big point for adding a separate tree but still. For three while it’s lower tiers consists of modifications, that are in reality of the game are so called “copy paste”, it’s not that smaller than Japan or Sweden was on release, and Israel is currently the most recent addition with no sub-trees. The reason why it’s least played is because to play it you need to actively want to do so, as it’s not unlocked from start. In short it’s unique enough, especially when subtrees would be added. Nobody seem to complain about Unified Korea being added, i doubt they have anything more unique than Israel does.

It is off track indeed. I want to clarify that I didn’t meant that Merkava not having armor is racist. There was a statement at the top that Israel is irrelevant, i.e., shouldn’t’ve been added, in addition to interpreting my words of why Greece goes specifically to Israel not because of gaps in tech tree instead of fixing the tree itself, as stated by devs, but as me being upset by that idea, which I’m not. At least that’s how i interpreted that statement yesterday.

Keep things on the tanks, soon as you start making wild unfounded accusations not tethered to some kind of reasonable logic you can have it happen right back and then it’s just a slinging fest. “Don’t start no stuff won’t be no stuff” as someone once said.
