Merkava 4 armor is long overdue to be buffed

Many bugs are accepted but never fixed. It feels like Gaijin accepts them merely to stop complaints for a few years, rather than to actually address and fix them.

Merkava mk4m 400 just got passed to the devs

Knowing Gaijin it will have the same armor that other Merkava 4’s have.

Forget the Merkava4’s where is my tech tree MK3D Gaijin?

Coming back after a WT break, hopped in the Merkava IVM. Went 7-0 twice in it. Gotta say, still really a good tank, especially against Russian tanks, despite the armor problem. T-90s/80s are a lot less black-holey than before, dying a lot more reliably, and pretty much can’t harm you in hulldown because they have bad rounds against the super good Merkava upper turret half.

Meanwhile, both the Leopard and Abrams still suffer a lot from the turret basket addition, while the Merkava’s survivability is among the best if not the best in WT.

Merkava IV with accurate armor would be so damn good in-game it makes me think Gaijin really never is going to fix it. :(

Also, genuine question people, do yall think Merkava Mk.4M 400 will be foldered with the Merkava Mk.4M or not?

Maybe? Maybe not? It’s not really consistent.

UK has foldered 12.7 Challengers, Japan foldered Type 10, then there are non foldered M1A2SEP/SEP v2, Leclerc SXII/Leclerc AZUR, Leopard 2A6/PSO/2A7

Technically speaking some of those vehicles you mentioned are foldered with previous vehicles.

Yeah, but specifically for the end of the line tank, correct me if I’m wrong but only Japan and UK has folder there. Israel is kind of similar to most others for that. Mk4 and Mk4LIC foldered, then Mk4M not foldered.

It’s kind of everywhere and it doesn’t seem like there’s an exact rule if the tank get foldered or not.

Not end of line. PSO and 2A7 below. Then SEP v2 below. Only Japan and UK have their end of line foldered.

This is due to having more upcoming tanks for these nations.

Germany and USA still has more options while others dont, except France.
