I mean, PSO could have been foldered with 2A7 despite more tanks coming. It might honestly just be a RP roadblock on the main nations to incite people to spend money to go faster.
Similarly, France doesn’t have much incoming above the current Leclerc other than the XLR(Same as all the other Leclerc but better thermal and LWS). Yet has one folder, then two Leclerc copy, all at 12.7

Should have better armor, it has a different and more angular profile, leading me to believe the armor array is different from the one we have.

Just repeating what was agreed upon in its suggestion thread. Supposedly a marginally more aggressive angle, that and pictures of the module armor suggest it is different. Ofc there’s also more stuff the tank has alongside that.
I’m mainly hoping this can come in the future updates considering all the top tier jets that were passed to devs are coming soon even though they’re just “passed to devs” this would be just a nice little addition to have. I would love for the long awaited armor buffs🙏 (plus just more iron Chariot’s)

Indeed our Merks have been neutered in game since its release. Quite literally and visually lol. I’m only hoping they are now that the mods 3 months ago gave an update saying that it has been internally recommended. So maybe chances are higher for our merk balls. I’m definitely going to be hoping the Merk MK4M-400 to be added soon, as well the armor package as @BasherBenDawg8 said is a different Internal layout completely. They’ve supposedly changed the layout and added additional NERA and supposedly a better layout for the SLERA. So it definitely should have better capabilities against kinetic penetrators and tandem charged war heads. This is also the same case for the hull composite blocks on the sides allegedly.
How would it be on BR if protection increases? Would the differences deserve a 13.0 BR although it doesn’t exist yet? Or are the changes not so big?
I think it will sit at 12.7 with other top tier mbts considering Israel only has one 12.7 tank. I think the balancing factor would be that it would be the only merkava able to take a decent hit. But I’m not sure as we haven’t had it in game yet. But hopefully soon considering they accepted it. Just like they did the f-22 and f-35 and such.

I don’t think they’ve really made it where Atgms can get destroyed or disabled as accurately as real life heat chains. It more or so just acts as spaced armor kinda in game. Would still love to swing my balls though after shooting my cannon💀. Really looking forward to the addition of a merkava with a better armor suite and an advanced aps system. Gaijin please add it soon
