He didn’t get shot in the hull. If you watched the video, he clearly loses his horizontal drive in the bustle.
There isnt m4-400 in the game its only m4m
In other words, I hope the upcoming Mk4M-400 model will be an improvement on the previous model, rather than just a copy.
sad how well modeled the bmpt is compared to my paper merks and namers. can’t even get my damn holy god balls modeled on the back of the turret
Well today is a sad day. Watching t series get buffs. Not huge but still. And god have mercy on out souls the bmpt got more armor internal’y for its crew and autoloader. When will the merkava’s or especially the namer get its actual armor. I don’t understand why the bmpt gets (nearly) all its real world capabilities and features of armor but god forbid we have an armor buff for israel
Kinda like they think the device as a material object, it’s like expecting a cellphone to be nothing more than a wooden plank lol
When will Gaijin finally close the hatch on the Namer? If they keep the model with the hatch open as it is in the test state, the Eitan IFV, which will be added later, will also be affected by this issue.

At least look at the IFV man…
What I mean is that this hatch is clearly designed to have the glass panel removed and closed (it is only used to allow the crew to stick their head out and observe the road for driving under non-combat conditions), and the structure behind the hatch also confirms this.

If you find this surprising, just take a look at the hatch on the Type 25 reconnaissance vehicle, and you’ll see it’s really no big deal.

Of course, if you believe that Israeli armor designers are simply too stupid and incompetent to intentionally create a weak spot that conveniently invites enemy attacks, then I truly have nothing more to say.
Those two images do not show the same thing.

The Namer’s optic clearly does not shut. It’s fixed in place. There’s a hatch on the top of it as well. I am well aware that it invites enemy attacks as I play the Namer frequently, but this isn’t a closable glass window like many 8x8 AFVs have. It’s a fixed viewport for the Commander. There aren’t any other viewports for him to look out of, unlike the Standard Namer cupola.

If you somehow have evidence of this being open, feel free to show it, but I don’t see how you think it closes when it would completely blind the Commander from non-camera vision.
I can confirm this does not shut, irl its fixed in place.
Have you tested the Namer equipped with the UT30 turret? So where are the MT883 engines that were specifically procured for the Namer in the DSCA file?"
The reason is very simple, because the Namer IFV equipped with the UT30 turret is just a test car and has not really entered the IDF service operation, so whether he will really be stereotyped in this way needs to be questioned❓ Otherwise, we should have a glimpse of his combat figure in a conflict that has not really stopped until today, instead of studying and judging the old videos/pictures a few years ago.
That is not a UT30 turret.

This is a UT30 turret.
UT30MK2 Configurable Unmanned Turret
The Namer, Eitan, and ROBUST do not have a disclosed name for their turret.
Considering that you just deleted the name of Samson, what do you usually call this nameless turret?
I presumed the Turret was a modified SAMSON 2, as seen here.
After commenting, I noticed a few things off and dug deeper. After consulting a few “in the know” type people, it appears there is no “official” name given to the APS Namer’s turret that the public is aware of.
It is not a UT30 nor a publicly known SAMSON 2 model. It’s a new turret that hasn’t had its name revealed yet. Though I do have my suspicions, it may be a new branch of the SAMSON 2 family. That’s just my intuition, however. Not solid proof.
From this point on, I will likely just call it “Tsrikhon turret” or “APS Namer’s Turret” for simplicity.
The reply I deleted was mistranslated as I thought, and not the nickname of the turret.
Just chiming in, Shiryon archive goers agree, it’s unnamed for now:
Seems to be officially referred to as “נמר צריח”, or Turreted Namer as I’ve been told. I’ve also seen that apparently there will be an official name in the future, which was apparently already chosen: “נמר לחימה”. This is coming from someone in the IDF who apparently read it in a training manual as I understand.
Found this video which shows clearly the internal of the Merkava mk. 2. Also the thickness of the backdoor.

Cant wait for him to upload a more detailed video of this tank.
They stated the weight as 143,000 pounds. Making it over 70 tons. Anyone else catching that???
