From my experiences of using the Merkava 3B its been awful i feel like 11.3 is just a stupid BR to put it in. I mean its slow weighing 65 tons, Armour is non existent can be front plate penned by M111 and DM23 like hot knife though butter, it lacks mobility, has a large profile and is overall just garbage. Comparing this to the leopard 2A4 at 10.7 from my experience its mobile, armour actually works turret cheeks can stop M322 (Merkava can barely stop M111 with its turret cheeks) and best of all it has a 2x smaller profile being able to drive past a wall without half the turret poking out. I dont really understand what makes the Merkava 3B 11.3 as it cant be because of the gun as the Sabra MK1 at 9.7 was added with the same gun, Cant be because of armour as of course doesnt have any, cant be mobility as every other tank at its BR easily out paces it, Cant be the reload speed as japan has its Type 90s with 4 sec reloads so what is actually going on why are the Merkavas at such an abserd BR.

Just that they will never do that without some form of infomation to back it up. Which is damn near impossible as israel loves to keep anything about their MBTs even the Merk 1 classifed. What gaijin is going off is what they assume the composite can stop which they are wildly underestimating making the Ariete look like is has armour
There is planty of evidance confirmed by the idf and we can start with the fact that merkava doesnt use nera armor but some other kind of armor tech i dont remmeber the name
Also merkava m4 weight is around 80 ton so merk 3 is like 70 i assume
It is true that they are slower and less armored than their surroundings, but they can use the M322 and M339, so if you ride them with proper consideration, you will be able to achieve great results.
The M322 is very powerful and can penetrate the upper part of a T-80Uβs body at close range.
The M339 is very effective against lightly armored vehicles, easily knocking out 2S38s and PUMAs that only have their turrets out (it can fire at the ridge line, which means minimal damage to us as we only need a minimal peak).
The turret armor of the Leo2A4 cannot stop the M322, it can easily penetrate it.
I find this argument most reasonable.
Well I guess it must be german wizardry as from using the Merkava 3B with M322 on most occasions that im in a situation to need to shoot a leo 2A4 in the turret I get non penetration this has happend in the object 292 aswell which makes zero sense.
