Ive already gone on a rant about the Merkavas BR before to no avail so might aswell go again. The Merkava 3B & 3C have zero I MEAN ZERO reason to be at 11.3, who ever came up with that BR choice should go to prison. To resolve the issue of this disgrace either A. Accurate model the Merkavas armour or B. Move the Merkava 3B and 3C to 10.7 - 11.0. I find the Merkava 3s performance to be comparable to vehicles in the 10.7 - 11.0 range. To justify my point let’s take a look at the stats, Such as the Merkava 3s armour which I have concluded to have around an average of 230mm of protection sounds like alot you may say but this is enough to make M111 look like it’s depleted uranium and the armour itself is comparable no joke to the Tiger II a WW2 tank just wow. Now about the armaments on the Merkava, 120mm main gun with M322 which is a mean round and can prove itself however the Merkava 3 happens to sit at the maxium BR of tanks that get stock HEAT which is really exciting when you’re up agaisnt Leopard 2A7Vs, 24/7. Another thing about the 120mm is a ammo type that has been brought up previously the LAHAT barrel launched ATGM, I mean it’s not exactly game breaking as its rather slow sitting at 300 m/s and has a moderate warhead this can be equipt on the 120mm and the 105mm (HINT HINT Merkava 2) however a stand out feature of the LAHAT is it’s trajectory can be set to top attack which if this was to be implicated it probably wouldnt work at all knowing the current state of top attack munitions and its not like russia doesnt get its mean barrel launched ATGM. Now I will move onto the mobility sitting at 65 tons it’s one heavy tank and shows that ingame having a painfully slow acceleration averaging only 30-40 kph comparable to 9.3 tanks, this also links back to my point how its more comparable to 10.7 vehicle’s such as russian T80s and T72s (10.3-10.7) which are either same or faster top speeds than the Merkava 3. Not related to this post but any explanation to why the Namer 30 RCWS ingame weighs 64.4 tons while the Merkava 4M weighs 65.5 tons a difference of 1.1 tons, don’t know if ur seeings this but the weight difference between a abominally large turret vs a 30mm strapped with 2 spike missiles seems a bit off if you ask me. Back to the Merkava 3 talk, overall, the Merkava 3s would be much better suited in 10.7 - 11.0 that’s if you don’t bother correctly modeling them I mean it’s so clear that they don’t belong in 11.3 as they are not comparable to them at all except the gun maybe please gaijin use some common sense and make the israeli tree bareable.
(Another thing that I forgot to mention the 120mm cannot be the reason justifying it’s 11.3 BR as the same thing with M322 happens to be at 9.7 in which I wont complain about but further proves that some drunken alcoholic chose the BRs of the Merkavas)
