Oh so i wasn’t crazy,i swear when i enter the gunner sight with hover mode active and the perfect collective,the helicopter just starts to swing to a side without touching any inputs,it is so infuriating

Anyone dealing with massive frame rate drops?
I used to run 150-170 a few days ago at max setting with my i9 13950hx and 4080… now ima ruffling for 115, and constantly drop to 80 on menial tasks in game.
This is appalling, anyone else affected?
Only in tanks.
- 3rd person bad performance and wrong LOD distances. Distant objects very blury. Geometry shimmering.
- In binoculars stable 144FPS and correct LOD distance. Distant objects are sharp. No geometry shimmering.
In planes on the same maps stable 144FPS and correct LOD distance.
But IDK… since Firebirds it´s like they fiddle with graphics every other day. One day I have sharp stable client, but the game has gamma set way too high and there´s alot of bloom. Other days I have gama low but the image is very desaturated. Some days my drivers hang alot. Other days everything is blury and LOD texture pop distances are like 20 meters, which is extra noticable when you have a Nvme/SSD drive. Yesterday when I played, tracers were back to being close to invisible like before Firebirds.
No other games do that mind you, I only have issues with War Thunder. I also made a fresh instal with Firebirds.
Yeah I’m running baulders gate with zero issues. However, I just did a nova benchmark test since I posted this and it says my razors power consumption is well below expected average which is really weird.
Have to start investigating, because I’m not seeing any issues on games and settings, but my benchmark results are now off. Showing my clock speed down too.
Do you know where I can read and learn about this stuff to try and diagnose?
I’m a plug and play person, but since my benchmark results are off after only 3 months from the last one, I’m a little concerned. Though it still ranks my system at 5020 score and says I’m higher than 99% of systems tested. Maybe low power draw is from laptop vs desktop idk.
No need to panic. If other games are running fine, you don´t get sudden restarts and crashes, then your system is fine.
If you want to look more into your system diagnostics, I recommend:
- AIDA64 Extreme (paid and detailed)
- TPU GPUZ (free but limited)
