Did they stealth nerf SIM rewards with Firebirds? I had a 16 kill / 9 death game with F-14 IR and got only 600 (yes, six hundred) SL and 25k RP for a 65 minute game and victory.
Before the update I would have got about 150k SL and 60k RP with a similiar game.
Zoom (FOV) slider in cockpit no longer works. My face is now glued onto the dashboard with a consoloid FOV. I hope it’s a bug which will be promptly fixed and not yet another Gaijin’s attempt to prevent us tweaking game to our needs.

The ground map changes have been fantastic, shrinking them, removing trees and placing hills around some spawn points to kettle in players. CAS just gets better and better.

Sure they do. And as we know Eurofighter and Rafale are much more capable jets than F15 E and F16, F-117, Su-27. Also while we are at balancing, they could have skip Su-34 and focus on something for less fortunate nations, to balance them out. Why is it always russia first? (Rhetorical, I know why, I am just venting frustration).
Okay, yeah. I’m definitely taking a break until things get fixed. Being able to zoom out has been pretty vital for seeing stuff in my japanese planes and not being situationally unaware.
The forum is surprisingly removed from the rest of the community, most people here have quite a bit of time and more balanced perspectives in the game.
Go on YouTube or other areas where people talk about the game and you’ll run into a lot more… “unfounded” opinions.
Got back to the game after almost 2years time, in love in the new visuals, actually sacrificed QHD in favor of 2K to enjoy it. But man, after yesterday’s micro update, loading screens are killing. Sometimes battle ends, you wait min or 2 just to kill the process.
when I was flying M2K D R1, i coudln’t chaff/flare when I was going faster than 1 mach and had bombs attached. Too funny to be true :)
during other match in the same airplane wile flying around 100m above water, the plane flying straight 1 390 Km/h IAS just on its own went nose down and crashed. Intrernet connection was perfect all the time.
Anyone played the M41 yet? The mobility is worse than a Maus almost lmao. Can barely go up the hill. A bush will stop you dead. xD what the hell…
Edit: perhaps a winter specific thing. Grass mobility was fine. Weird.
Why is the new text/font for Artillery and other stuff right on top of the reticle? Can’t it be a little bit higher so it’s not in the way? Kinda annoying
That this blur/fog like filter on every TAA and TSR and even this directx12 intel thing is caused by bloom which is now permanently turned on and cant be turned off?
My eyes feel very uncomfortable with that bloom thing, and i need TAA or TSR to get rid of flickering of fences and other things when i move, i am scout i really need to see everything.
So anyone knows if it is confirmed bug or does it stays like that forever?
First all: Thank you very much for not fiddling with joystick settings in this update. I mean the reset bug for xbox players is still there, but currently i have to adjust just 3 settings on my HOTAS profile each time i want to play wt…
But others (like in this bug report - see comments) are forced to invest 40 minutes each time before they can play wt. This requires a lot of passion…
In addition it would be great if you can say something about the changes implemented in Air RB - mainly the denial of enemy markers at further distances.
I mean with some luck you can benefit from that, but on cloudy and/or large maps it is almost impossible trying to keep teammates alive as you can’t make informed decisions.
I mean if two teammates get in danger you want to know which threat they face (number and type of enemies) in order to assess your chances of helping them - so is it realistic that you can help him before he is dead.
Currently you see just own players getting killed and you have zero clue when he was attacked, so if he got killed by a current attack or if he crashed minutes later…
I think the same. This nerf to interface during battle is a big one and should be discussed and tested properly before introduction. I have some funny experiences now with M2K D R1 (no A2A radar). During matches, I can’t see enemies for 95% of the gameplay. I understand fully that’s the “Realistic” part of the game, but it’s somehow ruining the game experience a lot.
