I think i speak on behalf of most of air sim players when I say that big red “MISSILE EVADED” prompts in air SB is not needed.
I understand we have new mechanics but sims is as much about skill to fly as it is about situational awareness in game w/o markers.
This text pop-up often warns you about attacks that you had no idea even happened - for example IR missile didn’t reach you, you accidently flared it (some planes have so many flares you can leave them on auto) or when radar guided missile miss but you do not have RWR.
I’ve gotten a bug where upon entering Gunner view it looks like I’m underwater or something, the screen becomes greenish and hazy, with fog making it literally impossible to see anything.
The new profile page is absolutely terrible, Im here since beta and after all these years I still cant understand why Gaijin tries so hard to change things that nobody wants changed.
This new profile simply hides everything many players grinded for years to show on the main screen of their profile: Medals, vehicles and spaded vehicles, stats, it was all there, fast and easy to see, on the first screen shown. Now the main screen profile have just half dozen meaningless totals of something Gaijin decides as your “favorite” mode and lots of empty space. The info is scattered, the vehicles/spaded are gone, everything is worse.
Please Gaijin give me back the ability to check my KD. With the new kinda shitty profile you can’t check it at all!
Edit: Okay you can still check in Leaderboards… but why the extra step?
Edit2: Also when my favorite is Realistic Battle then why does the Service Record always start on Arcade?
Bring back the old aiming time for naval arcade. This was the only fun naval mode, as there was at least some class balance in the form of: Torp-boats/Destroyers>Battleships>Cruisers>Torp-boats/Destroyers. This sole update destroyed it, now battleships or whoever is at the top of food chain depending on BR kill everything in sight by pressing one mouse button.
Most importantly, did the playerbase ask to introduce this change?
Since the update, the spotting system seems very messed up…have to be really close to see the enemy and other enemies warp in to screw up the engagement. If I am close enough to see my teammate doing a gun attack on an enemy, I should be able to see the enemy…not as of the update.
I have also seen several instances of missiles launching and then disappearing and teleporting a significant distance to reappear.
I miss that they did away with the chart that showed your total number of vehicles unlocked and spaded for all nations. I am grinding evenly down all the trees this time, and it was handy for keeping track of who needed work. Now I need another spreadsheet… :(
Actually would prefer stats being shown as an optional opt-in/out setting. If its less easy to access now, then good, less “muh stats” arguments and I don’t have an overinflated ego anyways. Solid update.
my pc has the following components: 13700k, 4070 ti super, 240hz 2k monitor. In movie graphics mode
raytracing off: native x16 + TAA graphics card only runs 70-80% I get 240 fps
raytracing on: native x16 + TAA graphics card loads 100% but only gets 70-80 fps and sometimes the screen freezes for a few seconds.
