As I already said, the teams behind developing the Auction and the game consist of different people; therefore the work of one team doesn’t impact the productivity of the other.
It’s like expecting pianist to pain pictures. Both pianist and painter are artists, but they work with different material.

Right, but the overall budget for artists, independent of what they specialize in is set by Gaijin.

If Gaijin is devoting additional money to hire painters (auction), the community is suggesting bringing in more pianists (game mode design / development / improvements) might be better for the health of the game.

We didn’t hire any additional staff for this, the auction was made by the same people who support Gaijin Marketplace. This is a purely web-development team that has nothing to do (and can’t anyway cause it’s a totally different programming skillset) with writing or fixing the code of the game itself. I don’t know how more clearly it should be spelled out.

Well if they are already working on the market place
They maybe should work on a way to offer an infinite amount of cosmetics on the Market Place for a Fixed amount

Hint it already exists for Chest Keys
Add in revenue Share into the back code and done

Getting that to Work on console would indeed need a different team given it would need to be integrated into the main game somehow

I checked it myself: it is slightly hidden, but the browser receives sufficient information about the lot, at least for now. Look at this

ATM camo for J-10A - 60 GJN, for VT4A1 - 70 GJN.

I’m waiting for the next step: not transmitting data about top bids at all. If they do this, for me personally everything is clear, the snail has turned into a second potato.

Don’t know, I don’t have GJN to check by betting myself. And specifically for myself, I decided to stop further purchases here. At least until the situation with the auction is clarified and something more interesting appears than new clones for premiums, etc.

I can confirm they switched the biding UI around so the top 100 is now at the bottom, like why ?

First of all - we do not like the idea of making our hard work available only for a few.

Like event vehicles? Anyone with a life outside of the game or who doesn’t have the budget to pay 50 bucks per vehicle can’t get them.

We were making several time limited options to purchase vehicles in several cases for different reasons, but in general that is not we do like.

So who is forcing you to remove premium vehicles from the game, only to bring them back once a year to sell a bunch?
Conveniently skipping the 50% sales too.

FOMO is real thing that will work in any limited options (events, discounts, etc), but not the thing on what you can make long-time relationship

Another reason (not the main) why we are not going to put vehicles in Auction is that purchase in GJN are the best for content creators revenue share (or even the only option) , but they also not available for console players, which is also very unpleasant and obviously not we are happy about.

The reason of ‘refusal to deny’ is that are very old discussions (and as in most cases - come from players suggestions) is to have some kind of option to get vehicle (for limited time or perpetual) when you buy a skin (cause otherwise if some player want a skin but do not have vehicle - there is not much sense for him to buy a skin until he get the vehicle).

And there it is… So possibly the only way to get removed vehicles like tiger 105 or panther 2 is to buy ridiculously overpriced skin and then have the option to buy the vehicle…

Most developers are scared of how players can percept any changes in progression, store and everything.

The Auction was made several years ago, being proposed before Marketplace, but as most are afraid of (some?) players reactions it hadn’t been released.

Should’ve listened to those devs then. This is the most predatory and scummy addition to the game (so far…).

The most insane part about the whole thing is that in order to even bid on anything, you have to give your money to Gaijin and you’ll never get it back.
