Meet the Auction!

I understand that everyone is angry, but still: how is this auction thing worse than the boxes/cases we already have, which, in opposite of the auction system, IS actually a literal gambling? I believe you might all be a little overreacting. Most of the player base wont be using this new system, just like they don’t use the Gaijin market. No offense to anyone.

(Fwiw to everyone reading my other comments, I will not be putting a single GJN into the auction system. Even as I argue that I don’t think it is horrible.)

just make the stuff on the market easily accessible in form of coupons and the price comes down naturally

ingame events challenges what ever

Which is why I say they should offer stuff for GJN at fixed prices.

If I were Gaijin I’d offer stuff like the E-100, IS-7, etc. at usual premium prices via their store. Just sold as bog-standard unique vehicles, no premium, just unique items you can pick up if you really want them.

They’d sell by the absolute bucketload. That would bring the coupon prices down to sensible levels while still allowing people to buy/sell at semi-reasonable rates on the market.

Financially it would also make more sense. How many sales of IS-7s are transacted at current prices? Not many. In 24 hours Gaijin would easily sell many times more if it was a retail item. Rather than a bastardised auction/raffle/lottery.

or this so easy and good

I hit like on the post, and “good” on the poll because I want to see more GJN bled from the marketplace. I would love to see more/new/better ideas on how to accomplish that. If nothing changes, the prices on the market are going to go hyperbolic. It is already happening, and the curve has been accelerating big time over the last year or two.

read the posts above please

the more you buy the more you save does not help anyone

Very, very, very few. Even over the course of a year. I look at the number of sales every once in a while. Once coupons go over $200-$300 ish, sales slow down to maybe a handful a month. Over $500 and it’s barely 1 a month, if even that. Even during the SL crate events, the sales barely double, even as the prices fall. Most sales are from pre existing buy offers from before the crate event starts (because people getting new coupons from SL crates instant sell them on the market, triggering the existing buy offers.)

So - Gaijin have to sell, what - less than 10x of them at high-tier premium prices and they’re already earning more from the product…

then just sell an unlimited number of them for 80 or 100 dollars
guess how many 200 plus sells they will do

they will have to sell at 79 or 99 dollars if they want to sell them at all

The whole ‘selling a thing for a fixed price’ has been keeping shopkeepers going for the past 7,000 years.

It’s only post-2000 video games companies that have yet to learn that it is an actual thing.

this unlimited supply thing is something we had in game for years no development needed

imagine instead of selling keys it would sell E100,is7 and so on for 100 dollars each
market still exists gaijin gets money everyone happy besides war thunder scalpers

another bonus for the snail it does not have to pay out anything to anyone the “unlimited key seller” would send everything spend to the void needing repurchase of gaijin coins

would be great but given the current circumstances with the auction gaijin thinks 100 dollars is way to cheap

there was poll about the auction but it was closed with 90% negative and only 2% positive
ps poll is still open just the comments are disabled

If they start selling vehicles via auction, I will quit the game.

same that would really be end of the game wen everything special is behind an ever increasing pay wall
