Meet the Auction!

How can you be sure it required a lot of resources? It’s possible that it was put together haphazardly without much consideration or effort…

oh 1 sec

given the amount of skins i doubt that

They could have made these things themselves, no where does it list who has made them, nor does it list anyone who is placing orders, so this entire thing could be their own items being sold under the false pretense of community made with them taking a 100% of the proceeds in a rigged auction.

Which doesn’t seem unlikely, as why would any sane person increase a bid by $30 instead of $0.01 as we always seen on the market.

I would agree that this would most likely be orrientated like the current revenue share program, thats specifcially what I want them to expose. How little the CC’s will make from “an oppertunity to recieve a reward that corresponds to the demand of the items they create”

Gaijin is trying to push this system as if its beneficial for the CC’s but if CC’s only make 30% of the demand created by the items they themselves already make, then the system is inherriently rigged to profit for Gaijin, which again is what Im trying to get gaijin themselves to expose in a roundabout way.

very interesting take indeed

I have to imagine bot accounts will abuse the hell out of this.

And the plan is 100% to sell E100, 279, IS7 etc super rare vehicles in the auction in the future.

sadly if it works like the market you have to pay the bid first and get it back wen you place the next bid so you need to actually have said gaijin coins

What is this “The intent is to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different camos.”-type response? There’s ways of releasing guaranteed cosmetics and rewarding camo authors without making it predatory, involving gambling, and excluding your console playerbase.

There’s already bots on your marketplace, tying these auctions to GJN will make them even more rampant, rendering the marketplace unusable for regular, legitimate players.

In this case they’ve already said none of this was community created content, this was just a test.

While we already support content creators through market purchases, why introduce another method? Are these ‘charity donations’ just a cover for trying to make a quick profit? Isn’t the market already achieving this purpose, or is that not true? I apologize for being so blunt, but many people are upset and appalled that this is even being considered.

I usually consider myself a laid-back individual, but this and other recent additions—like the ‘copy and paste’ vehicles and decisions made over the last few patches—are making me question why I play the game

testing how much money they can make no way someone taught this would get positive feedback

“Shame people with more money can bid more than most” isn’t really the “concern” the rest of us have… Lmao

Just like they’re not community created bids.

Thank you for not quoting my last part of that message & missing all of my comments about limiting new items. You proved my point on why i won’t comment anymore as people seem to be twisting comments made :)

The last bit added literally nothing that supports your argument though?

This is actually worse than current implemention, as it’s even worse for FOMO than any new AI generated stuff.

Exactly my tought .

It’s like gaijin forgot how to evolve .

Insane “box draw “ events . Waste of SL .

And 200% sure that next update will be top tier junk jets again .

@Pacifica

Honest feedback, here you go.

Focus team efforts on other priorities.

Test, finalize and release the conversion process for wagers, orders and boosters as was announced.

More maps.

Create a new mode/modes.

Allow us players to use convertible rp’s with a better GE exchange rate then what is currently available. Either that or allow players the ability to apply the convertible rp’s for something else like camouflage, decals and or decorations.

Have GE cost for camouflages adjust/lower as players get closer to the goal as is done with event achievements. Someone might not be willing to spend 200 GE’s on a camo but will spend 50.

As a way to generate new/additional revenue for Gaijin then release more multi vehicle packs as was done with the 2 Fronts pack. Great vehicles with great camos/decorations at a fair price. I bought it and have seen plenty of these pack vehicles in battle so it must have sold well.

As for the Auction itself:
It must remain strictly player created cosmetics as it is now. Never put vehicles up for auction.
Work, if possible, on including console players.

i have to agree with you changing it to SL does nothing

Thats actually make sense
because on the market a 0.01 gc different can mean between sold and stay
no human being(unless stoopid) will pay more than 30 gc for a skin(erm) or banners
