This better not ever end the the update crate trophies.
That is all.
Profiting off of rich people I tend not to have issue with.
When it causes suffering for the standard players… it better not do that.

Yea that what he said essentially, profit they dont want cuts
@katyushá, @Necronomica, @Stona_WT, @Smin1080p_WT
Could any of you try and pass up a message to the devs about this?
Having someone else get your cut mean they can ask for more over time, so you dont take thier offer, even if it means console cant access auctions or the market
Am i missing something here or are people seriously spending 50+ € for skins that are restricted to a single vehicle?
67€ for the frame
Personally i don’t mind this auction system since i’ll never use it and don’t care how others spend their money but at the same time, wow
Meet the auction
Yes. Theres a chance that at least one of those people are struggling with a serous addiction when it comes to gambling in this game too.
Its very preditory.
Yea, or for convertible RP
If they limit it exclusively to cosmetics it can be fine, even if there is still absolutely zero player benefit and only serves to make money. But that is way too close to auctioning vehicles which should never happen.
If Gaijin makes a public statement that they will never use this for any vehicle or other gameplay relevant asset and keep it limited to non-historical camouflages and profile decorations then that is the only way I can see this end up as barely acceptable. And even then it’s certainly not a good look to their reputation.
Hey,
I will leave that comment to the Community managers, There has been a few official threads made today so i’d imagine they are super busy.
The BR changes one has already 1.2k posts alone, so they will have a lot to go through. This is a test auction so i can’t speak on behalf of anyone as an official statement is often made by CM’s.
I appreciate that but with all that’s gone on today it seems to follow a similar trend as in the past where the devs give out lots of information at the same time and then are surprised when they overwhelmed with responses and use it as a smokescreen.
But I do appreciate you taking the time to respond and that you ultimately cannot speak for the devs or the CM’s. I just hope that we do get an official response from them soon.
From what i have seen historically on the forum i’m pretty sure that a summary of all the comments and sentiments on new mechanics/changes are somehow sent to the DEV’s. I do not however know that process nor would i be able do anything about it. All volunteer teams are practically at the same level as any other player when it comes to anything outside of the specific area they handle.
(I think the Community Managers have a bit more insights and ways of communications with the DEV’s but i have no idea how that works and i’m not certain on anything in that area).
I think that’s in most countries it’s illegal. They have to be supervised by a “huissier de justice”
As someone with a bit of experience related to Community Management I can tell you that the Community Managers are 100% in direct touch with the developers as they play the bridge role within the developing team and the community so if anything they’re the ones to gather information and pass it up and vice versa. Probably even have a telegram chat or multiple, or a similar platform so information is shared on schedule.
Going back on topic, and having read most if not all replies here its safe to say this is something we as a community don’t want in the game and Gaijin should address further situations like this publicly instead of just launching them out of the blue, if anything to avoid the backlash. Doesn’t hurt to “ask us” what our thoughts are before implementing what I consider to be an absurd, given the fact there is already something called marketplace.
Save your resources on this and spend them on something else game related, there’s enough “coin” going around as it is.
Now its just skins.
Later - knowing Gaijin - vehicles will enter that list too.
All that extra money that gaijin makes with this kind of stuff, and what do we get in return… More C&P, cracked mechanics and more artificial nerfs (e.g. no F&F for Brimstones etc… Yet the Kh-38 missle can exist with F&F).
Not even a single unique Hungarian, South-African, Benelux (besides that one G.1a), Finnish (except for the, by Dutch altered, Fokker D.XXI’s (which BeNeLux doesnt even get…)) or Thai airplane has made it into the game yet…
Gaijin: what do you players want?
Players: new maps!
Gaijin: ok. anything else?
Players: new game modes!
Gaijin: ok! more?
Players: more spaas for the nations who lack them in quite a lot of BRs!
Gaijin: ok, we hear you. here is an auction!
Players: come again?
The marketplace Gaijin gets 15% of the sale, here they get 100%. Not exactly hard to figure out why they think this is worth having.
Like I’ve said they will be getting paid over 60 GJN for this while they normally get about a fiver if it was in an event.
Personally these should of been in the sale bundles
Such an unnecessary addition
Thats why they dodnt run it by the community first. They knew itd be an overwhelming “no”
