That’s what I was trying to say, the vehicles already haven’t been that special and usually the only thing that really was unique about them was their nationality.

Which is actually making them less unique. I have nothing against copypaste in boundaries of the same nation, but copypasting let’s say a german vehicle to sweden is really garbage to me.
When i play a certain nation i want to face vehicles from other nations, not the same vehicles i play, but copypasted to other nations for 0 reason

I absolutely despise the fact that they gave sweden a Tiger II, just because sweden happened to have bought a Tiger II post-war. Heck, they only ended up testing its driving capabilities and proceeded to use it as a range target afterwards.

Has it been officially confirmed that previously Account Only vehicles in general will be provided? I thought it was old BP vehicles only.

As far as I can tell they are only including vehicles that didn’t get tradeable coupon releases. That’s not limited to BPs however.
I mean, sure, it would be better if you could choose a boat from that box instead of getting a random one, but it’s still great to have a chance to get otherwise unavailable vehicles
Edit: its not even something new, there used to be random vehicle boxes in the warbonds shop and there still are random avatar, decor and decal boxes in there

Yee, It is good that you can get things that you missed before. I just dislike random loot box inclusion here as it slowly normalizes It as a practice in the future in other areas which will further overstep the line for the game imo.
Lootboxes are fine as long as they are 100% optional or guarantee to give you a decent reward.
I personally don’t see anything wrong with the vehicles being in lootboxes in this case. You cannot buy more of them or gamble with them. It’s more in line with actual lootboxes, just a random reward, like a treasure chest after beating a boss.
The GE boxes are far worse than that

Yeah that’s fair. I just hope I am not proved right and they keep it as an optional side thing like this/warbond shop. Kinda shame if you have all the vehicles though and get SL instead of a new ship…
I’ve got no problem with that. I can see the possible rewards here, just like I can check the loot tables in an RPG. The reward being random adds a bit of excitement if its the one I wanted the most too.
I disagree. People tend to play specific nations, game modes and vehicles. What good does it make to “win” something for which you have no use after several weeks of grind???

When did you ever get to choose what nation and game mode the vehicles you got from it were for?

It does also apply to BP to some extend, since since you know what you get, you don’t have to grind if you’re not interested. There’s transparency, at least (i.e. lack of interesting content)
Well, this is a BP reward, so both BPs and lootboxes are points of discussion.
Again, I am completely fine with the previous event vehicles coming in a lootbox. You don’t have to be okay with it and for the sake of others I do hope they change it to be a choice rather than being random. Or just use the box as the free reward instead of a set vehicle.
But since this is a BP, the point of not being able to choose what nation the vehicle is for just doesn’t mean much. According to the announcement these boxes will be repeated anyways, so if you don’t care for the Sholef and/or PBM-5, just skip it and try your luck next time the box is included.
