Sometimes I let them go! But they’re not hard to find unless they really put effort into using JDAMs and leaving the area immediately, and even then you might just find them coming in/out of the area.
Regardless, removing markers is stupid. The F-4E vs MiG-21 SEAD event showed this.
Yes I agree on that, markers in realistic is for the best. For SEAD it was better without the markers because it wasn’t PVP like arb
Even in SEAD event it sucked, you just ended up following the S-75 smoke trails around to find the F-4Es.
Ngl they should have made bots able to give some info via radio. Like bots in cs which have some phrases to tell about enemies, bomb etc. Would make it more “alive” than silent vehicles occassionally firing somewhere suddenly. And to make it not too cluttered they could send messages to players closer to target. Or relevant to their role.
I don’t know I liked it flying a Phantom low trying to hit heavily armed locations
Or just introduce planes like the RF-4 and all other recon planes

I meant that, if you were to remove the spotting system and have no markers for enemy aircraft, the F117 would be a lot harder to kill… because it would be harder to find it.
They said the gamemode would fall by the wayside as the development of the new update is underway. In essence this will probably mean we won’t see another test until after the update is released. So yea, probably going to be a bit longer before we get any new news.
As for the reason they don’t have it open the entire time…
One reason might just be due to server upkeep as they have stated it’s a relatively large load on the servers. Another is likely to be them wanting to review the data they gained without constantly getting even more data. Lastly, they probably just have the thought of, “it’s just not done yet” so they don’t want to have it be permanent.
Though this is just speculation on my part but it’s probably relatively accurate as to why they haven’t just kept it active.
At least we know they’re planning to have it be permanent by fall so it should in theory be permanent by November at the latest.
They also said they are hoping for a permanent release this upcoming major update. I know that means there is still a possibility it wont happen, but I’m coping anyways
