Saying that “the majority of players just want to lemming drive, aim, and shoot” is an assumption about a very large and diverse group of people. Psychologically, broad generalizations are often a sign of cognitive bias (wikipedia)
Not everyone who criticizes a vehicle, a BR placement, or a game mechanic is doing so because they are unwilling to adapt many experienced players understand positioning, terrain usage, team composition, and map awareness, yet still identify balance issues i a lot of thing

i Love the Brit gun, Brit apds round, active suspension, laser rangefinder, mobility, reload - joy to use - altho some on this thread - would want it to be 9.7 because it does something better than their 8.3. . . . .
put a tea kettle and a rotisserie mechanism and it would be 12.7

Idk XM 803 is really annoying when using literally any 8.0 MBT especially T-54, like it doesn’t even matter if the armor is bad because it’s so damn fast and it’s reaction speed is absurd to the point where it would win most engagements
like many others, they are only deadly when used in accordance to their role.
I.E - when they flank you or get behind you or find you with no backup. - Using it to it’s strengths - many other players use a pre-determined strategy/method which does not differentiate based upon the vehicle they use.
Or if they do - it is a very predictable route/method.
OR - People use the majority of vehicles like they are in a 803 - when in fact - they are not.
Time and place for everything - and the more people realise this - the better they will do for themselves.
But like I say - YOUR vehicle, YOUR intentions and YOUR actions should ALSO be heavily impacted by TEAM composition/movement and map - rather than operating purely by your own desire/intent/strengths. 16 people thinking independently (in a shitty selfish manner) for the shitty outcome rather than considerately for a good outcome.

I dunno.
The xm803 / kpz-70 have a tendency to do some really nonsense stuff with their armor.
They are commonly brought into 10.0 matches and above.
Mostly applies to ~9.3 games as well, they casually outrun light tanks while having very effective armor, autoloaders, secondary autocannons (though tbf 20mm HVAP is stinky), reverse gearboxes and even suspension control to make them extra monstrous on hilly terrain.
XM803 is notably lacking the cannon so it does belong below the 70s, but it’s still a damn menace.
I would say XM803 should go to 9.3, even if it is worse than MBT/KPz. From there decomp is a better option.
