@Smin1080p_WT hello! Can this source be added to the engine report?
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/nnJaPfe1FzcG
Also to avoid confusion, there is a manual mentioned in the answer, but is the name correct? Isn’t it MB-326KC manual?

If you have manual, maybe provide it to @Smin1080p_WT via PM, as I understand the actual problem is similar to Re.2005 VDM, they lack data, like performance tables/graphics to make flight model with correct engine.
At least I think it would be the best way, I’m sure Smin can help us to attach this manual to existing bug report and provide information to devs.

Hey. If you have the full manual version for this, please contact me via DM and we can upload it to the report.

@paolgand1975-psn Does the KD/KB manual happen to have the performance data attached to it for the plane as well? Such as engine thrust and speed charts?

I have a feeling the 632 engine is underperforming in thrust on dev currently (it is only making 1680kgf) but I cant find any good primary sources and only have one secondary source right now.

All the sites I find online say 1810 kgf but I cannot find the RR Viper 632 engine manual anywhere.

About 4,000 lb equals 1,815 kgf.

I haven’t checked the dev server yet — you can open a bug report, or if you’d be so kind as to send me a picture of the actual model on the dev server, I’ll file the report myself.

Ok yeah sure, I’ll grab the thrust numbers off the dev server this afternoon and send you the Images here.

Hi, I made a report using a picture I found on the internet.
Please support me — I’d like to correct the report with the proper picture.
If you can send it to me, I’d be very happy.
Thank you for your help and support!

Here you go,

First 2 images are of the maximum thrust which is at 400kph roughly.

The numbers for the thrust are pulled straight from localhost.

3rd and 4th images are for thrust at roughly max speed at sea level.

5th image is engine stats in the Hangar

If you need any other images let me know.

Sure thing, I will share it around.

Alright, also feel free to add the other images of the localhost thrust values I highlighted if you want.

Hi thank the reply to the report is as follow

This is the engine stand thrust, while the game indicates the engine thrust taking into account losses in the channel. Not a bug.

After checking the numbers, the difference between the manual value (4,000 lb = 1,815 kgf) and the in-game value (1,680 kgf) corresponds to about a 7.4 % thrust loss. (5%-10%)

This is consistent with typical installation losses due to intake and channel effects. Therefore, the explanation provided (“losses in the channel”) is plausible and correct.

I saw the report got closed, that’s good to know that the thrust is now correct.
I’m quite looking foward to playing this when the patch hits the live server :D

It keeps getting buffed, I really hope it doesnt go up in BR. Italy needs a plane at 6.7/7.0 badly. Maybe it can get some FM nerfs such as compressibility?

The current flight model already compresses badly past about 490 - 500mph, and it’s not very fast either.
I think nerfing the flight model for “Balance” causes more issues that it solves myself, the plane in its current state will be strong but fine at 7.0. There are plenty of other powerful planes around its BR that it will struggle with.

It will obviously, it’s Italian btw, hopefully there are less armed variants for lower brs.
