Can’t have BOZ, Finland never had it equipped with BOZ. It is missing its R13M1 on the outer pylons though which would be better than the 9P3 it has. Additionally without a RWR it will always be at a disadvantage as it will be worse as it flies low to the grind instead of using altitude to its advantage.
Realistically give it its correct missiles and move it to 10.7
No, the jet ( J35XS ) is horrible it only has 12 flares, missiles with 10G that easily miss, rockets that can’t destroy any bases, and most importantly, it loses an extreme amount of speed in turns.
Your opinion about this jet going to 11.0/11.3 is not valid. If you’re having trouble facing it, then just study what the jet is capable of and find ways to counter it.
Putting it back at 11.3/11.0 would only make its win rate drop below 30% again, like it was before, when it didn’t have countermeasures and had even LESS FUEL to stay operational during battle.
You’re doing a disservice to us players who fought to make this jet at least somewhat usable at its current BR. Please don’t talk about jets you don’t know how to fight against.

Tbf if it got its R13M1’s it could actually have some better chances to kill, smaller FOV seeker and nearly 750m/s speed over the 9J’s allow for some nasty rear aspect shots as it just is too fast compared to 9J. Its why people who run Mig 21Bis with 6x R60M say it needs to go down in BR. They are sleeping on the R13M1, it would be a very welcome buff to the XS.

To be far its a compression problem, the XS has excellent 1 circle performance but if you haven’t killed the target you’re too slow and just die.
It also needs the fuel tanks on some maps which means you lose 2 of your missiles. If it goes up to 11.x it lacks RWR which is vital to air combat at this BR. Its an amalgamation of strong and very weak attributes which id say give it maus syndrome, too strong to go down and too weak to go up.
The XS should probably be 10.7 but the XS is far from the only offender at 10.x which is under BR’D
But as I said, NOTHING justifies the J35XS being moved to 11.0/11.3 in the game! I practically leveled the entire Swedish tech tree with it, and I didn’t see anything that supports what people are asking for.
The jet is great where it is right now it doesn’t have powerful weapons, it lacks real capability to deal damage to ground targets, and its airframe is fragile, especially since it’s a “delta” wing design, where any 20mm or higher caliber can tear it apart.
The jet is perfect at 10.3.
Oh well i think I got too much US teammate that’s all. not getting competent ppl flying mirage 3, MiG-21SM, and Hunter F.58 on my team and instead getting paired with ground pounder in Harrier, Sabre, and utter tool that flew F-5C and wasting their missile on AI gets on my nerve.
Id say as long as it gets its other missiles and other vehicles like the J7D and F5C go up then the XS should go up. Im referring to each of these vehicles going .3 up, the XS is pretty good but it does have a high skill level to perform well in uptiers, i don’t think it should fight stuff like the F100 but again compression is the biggest problem for the 9.x-10.x range
In my opinion, the topic should be about the J-7D and not the J35XS. The Chinese fighter is the one that actually causes a relevant issue in matches, since its missiles apparently at short ranges (around 3km to 4km) seem to have IRCCM on the PL-5s.
I own the J-7D, and it is very strong for the BR it’s currently at.
Either BR range need to be expanded to 15.0 stat and 10.X range gets untangled or gaijin get a parcel of sealed bottle of JP-4 with lighter.
