MAW countermeasure issue in JAS39E

I have looked at multiple videos, all of them clicked on countermeasure slaving to MAW to close countermeasures being shot at MAW’s detection.
Though, when I click on it in my JAS39E, my MAW doesn’t turn off and keep shooting countermeasure.

You sent your post to fast, the video had not finished uploading. When adding images and videos to posts you have to wait for them to finish uploading before posting or they won’t be attached to the post.

It’s been saying “Uploading 100%” for like 5 minutes. I don’t know if it’s sent now.

Go into options and turn off " activate automatic countermeasures slaving to maw at the start of the game" or smth like that and see if it solves it

Okay. I did. JAS39E’s slaving to MAW switch won’t work in game // Gaijin.net // Issues

Found the setting, clicked on the switch. Now, the MAW is closed before the game starts but I can’t switch it back to on through “countermeasure slaving to MAW”. So I can’t switch slaving either options while in game.

does it work like this on any other plane with MAW? I’m thinking there might be a problem with your keybind or the Y menu. Try binding it to see if it works

Try toggling it via the keybind and not the MFM (multi-function menu) I’ve seen a few things where the MFM is bugged but the actual keybind works

I have tried on EC-665 Tiger HAP. Same MAW issue happens on it too. And I didn’t mention but I tried both keybinding and multi-function menu at the beginning. For any case, I have tried both ways in EC-665 too.

I have looked deeper at community.gaijin.net and according to users who have the same issue, MAW settings can’t be changed in-game when client is in minimal storage. I have just tried it, downloaded the full client and now I can change slaving setting without a problem.
But I can’t keep the game on full client, so I need Countermeasure slaving to MAW switch not working on minimal client bug to be solved
