Maus is a terrible tank to maneuver since it is obviously the heaviest tank in the game and the current BR it is in right now adds more to the frustration
at 7.7 it still could destroy most of the tanks but it’s reload speed combined with its mobility makes this tank more like a target practise for most of the tanks and CAS since it doesn’t have a turret mg too!!!
I strongly suggest moving the maus to 7.3!!!
while it could be still be flanked ,bombed, immobilised and frontally penetrated by some tanks and also could be overpressured by some tanks easily, it is not gonna be much of a threat to the balance of the game in any way!!
hence the maus could be balanced perfectly at 7.3 and should be moved to 7.3!!!

Its the tradeoffs for the armor and the gun. The pros and cons are balanced based on its br. Lowering it will only be a hassle for other players.

They could probably lower the reload a bit of the main gun but moving it down would be really bad. It already is incredible in a downtier
Would make the 12,8/8,8 more useful with a bit shorter reload

Guns, in fact. The coax is incredibly important. Usually you can tell if someone knows how to use a Maus or not by their use of the coax (or lack thereof).

Not happening.
You move the Maus, ->It’s sure gonna have a slow reload.
However, nearly nothing will be able to effectively pen the damn thing.
Add more than 1 Maus and it becomes a 1 sided battle. Especially if Ho-Ri’s and whatever Italy has start supporting them.

This is a very simple approach of demonstrating the absurdity of a proposition by suggesting an equally absurd proposition that clearly demonstrates why the idea is a bad one. Really making it sound like you lot would take A Modest Proposal on face value.

i dont think they should vault it,its that one type of tank which its insanely hard to balance in a BR bracket and thats it to be honest
People see armor and expect to be a fortress when its really not

The Maus at 7.3 would be funny but a bit much. It should be moved down to 7.7 in AB, though. It’s currently 8.0 in AB and it really should not be any higher than 7.7 in any mode.
It’s not going to happen for balance reasons.
We already have our OP vehicle at 7.0 (Flakpanzer 341). Maus is fine where it is.
