Match quitting is an epidemic that MUST be addressed

And this happens more and more in lower ranks because everyone wants to fly now.
I also started flying with the focus on ruining the day for enemy aircraft. You usually only need two fighter planes to wipe out the suicide bomb gang.
I don’t even have to shoot down the planes, damaging them is often enough.
If the guys want to survive, the first thing they do is throw away their bombs and head for the airfield. That’s easily a 5-minute time gain for your own team.
It’s just stupid when there’s no one left on the ground because there are 6 planes flying around above, none of which have any bombs left and none of which have enough intelligence to do anything.

I would adjust the SP costs for the payloads extremely. Possibly even the ammunition belts accordingly. If you want to fight ground targets you need more SP.
Fighter planes would be the most logical and easiest answer to enemy bombers. Then the SPAA if everything goes wrong.

In other hand CAS in top tier definitely has effect on winning or not. How many times I ve seen people rushing caps, try to suicide kill one or two and know that they can now spawn Ka-50 and carelessly kill half of the team with Vikhr from 6km. And there are like 3 or 4 in the air alongside Su-25 spamming HE rockets. And then what is a point of respawning when you don’t have good SPAA in your lineup. You ll be just like a food. I don’t mind even talking about spawning Ka-50/Ka-52 and spam APDS at the beginning of the match when noone care about going in SPAA first. Thats the main reason players are frustrated to be killed like that, add to it map that is basically shit ( city like close-quarters CoD like maps ) and here we go

Problem is that with the belts is that it only punishes the cannon CAS and without the SP they can only use belts without pen or low pen in a mixed belt.

Meanwhile US gets all of their .50 belts that are almost all AP and 30mm of pen on everything which is plenty for a lot of things still.

By that logic there are no meta jets.
If all jets are just potential then why speak negatively?
Just cause Su-27, F-16, and F-15 aren’t as hand-holding as Gripen & Mirage 4000 does not make them worse.

Gaijin also uses belt to nerf vehicles and just forgets about them forever, the Kugelblitz is at 7.0 for god knows what reason with no lineup options and it’s also not allowed to get it’s HVAP belt and instead gets HVAP/HE/HE so 66% of the belt is completely useless, 77 - 7 - 7mm of pen.

Meanwhile Russia can have the M53/59 at 6.3 gets a pure HVAP belt so 100% effective and instead of 77mm it’s 91mm as somehow Germany keeps losing penetration over the years as Gaijin discovers a new way to calculate values that benefit Russia more.

The Ho 229 was nerfed in the same way more than 5 years ago because it was an effective ground striker and pure HVAP was removed for non-historical reasons and to this day it has not been returned despite the game significantly changing over the years of course.

Either way belts do already get increased SP cost as it is, it’s just a dumb system when for some planes the armored target belt is their only effective option with no high pen rounds in other belts, whilst others can just switch to an alternate belt with maybe 75% high pen rounds without an SP penalty.

It’s a bit silly to cough up a bunch of extra SP for a 50% HVAP belt because of it’s designation whilst a different plane, like the ITP for example has a default 50% AP belt without SP cost.

We were relating to Burgermankillz lineup and Miragen’s examples. Higher tier jets were not on the table in this particular exchange and not being covered by my comments, if that helps.

(I never cared for Top Tiers when it moved to modern as was not a goal of mine and never became one, especially since I was more a spader and after so many new nations it became beyond my patience. Top just means the latest/more modern additions and not the pinnacle, especially since every tier has starter, experienced, casuals, and/or committed, players)

There are different types of players - people seek different things in games. Some want to cooperate with their friends, other will want to have everything in the game, every achievement/vehicle, etc. Some want to try doing unique stuff in the game and capture it for a video.

I do most of those things, so I usually optimise my time with daily/season/event tasks, to then play with my squadron without caring for those tasks.

Also I can play the game because I like core of it while also criticise it for other things…

Sticking the insult in a discussion where someone shows a different point of view shows that you might actually be mentally this many years old…

Does this still even exist anymore? The time for big slow flying planes than need a lot of time to kill a tank is long time over since introducing the “post-war” SPAAs…at least at mid to higher tiers

So i quiet faster then 3-4 minutes in if i see one of this bs maps or get crushed by jets/Choppers. Simple solution for it.This is a reaction to a problem which gaijin made itself.

If you take tasks as a job so you can go play with your squadron friends. You are definitely 12 years old.

If I want something in the game I have no problem paying.

Its other way around actually. You are acting like 12 year old saying" I want everyone play the game as I think it should be played" while others play the game “as Gaijing designed it” meaning playing the game as one likes to play.

If one wants to use only 1 vehicle game allows it.
If one wants to use only heli game allows it.
If one wants to use ground vehicle only to get to plane game allows it.
If one wants to play only for fun regardless to win/lose game allows it.

The only way they could stop ODLs is to make multi vehicle lineup obligatory but they wont ever make that as it would affect selling of premium vehicles which together with queue time is their holy grail.

Haha well it’s bold to say that they designed it so that you only play one vehicle. If that were the case it would be like the competition where you play only one.

You missed the point. Game is designed to play it as one likes to play it. Its not designed to be played with only one vehicle but its also not designed to be played only with full lineup.

You are confusing game design with game play. 1 vehicle lineup is as correct as 8 vehicle lineup in terms of game design. In terms of gameplay those are different.

With current game design Gaijin gave players freedom to form lineup as they like and they are doing it. So the biggest blame goes to game designas they are ones which affected gameplay with their game design.

Indeed, and don’t forget laser guided bombs, which you can drop from altitude safe from any AAA (or maybe 2S38 can reach them) to the spawn point.

Well, that’s what I’m saying. A game where some play one vehicle, others four. The one next to you just wants to do a task, the one next to you wants to win.

The result is what the game is for most a rush to the top level. Absurd and unexciting games.

It is clear to me that it is the fault of the game.

But this doesnt help you with the grind!

Low battle activity and low win rate does not give you better RP results. if you want to grind better, use full lineups and win matches.

Yea imo in ground RB there are so many tryhards, specially Chinese players (in European servers for some damn reason), when the game’s not enjoyable anymore (95% of the time) I just quit. I play to try and have fun, not the opposite.
