I was always wondering why the win/loss rate in ger 6.7 and 7.0 is so bad (20% win rate). So i checked multiple times. And i found:
When you compare the player level you’ll find one lvl 100 in the ger team and over 70% below level 30. The opposite: 7 level 100, 20% below level 30.
And for those who say level doesnt matter: yes, it does. We had a lot of level below even 20, and the team got shredded. And this is only one example.
So, Gaijin, whats the point of such a matchmaking? Keeping matches short for esp. german teams?
A lot of new players tend to play germany, not much can be done about it without a far more complex matchmaker

Level doesn’t equate skill, just RP grinded.
You can have level 100s that:
- don’t play ground at all but instead air/naval
- just suck
German winrates just stink because the players on average stink.

May i ask,
What is the problem with not being able to get a 60%+ win rate?

The OP is terrible at the game.

The number of German players is more than that of other nations, that’s why it happened
You are obviously an exceptional player with a well above average skill. The question is wether your other nations have a similar win loss rate or wether for example USA has an even higher win rate than your German set up.
What I was mentioning is for the average player, and you can see it well in the graphics posted later in the thread. Greetings
I’ve been playing a lot of German 6.7 for the past seven months, uptiering myself to 7.0 to play with a friend. Yes, the teams are often outrageously bad, and yet:
People just need to cultivate their own skills. Get better at the game and the rest will come.
The USA have the best 6.7 lineup no doubt. Germany’s however is the second best and the thing it lacks the most is some flexibility (particularly on the mobility front). There is nothing especially egregious about this.
The average player assumption runs into an obvious problem, player distribution is unequal. You don’t have the same likelihood to encounter an average player in all ten tech trees. It is inevitable that most newer players will be in the Big Three, and Germany is hit the most by the “history channel” effect.
You can’t outright fix this, but of course you can ameliorate it by, for example, encouraging people to play multiple TTs. Especially the minor nations’. When you see how dilapidated some of their lineups are, trust me, you won’t feel like complaining about Germany again…
