This was my first experience with this missile and i didnt do research on it but c,mon Gajin can we get a larger firing window for this missile…Please! This thing is way too too small to do any pop up and kill missions you can but its a pain wow. Anyone have any tactics that they use that would be helpful please let me know.
iirc. It just has a C&P of the Vikhrs missile firing zone of 5°x5°, which is fine for the Vikhrs because its on pylons that adjust to the pitch of the aircraft, but massively problematic for the Martlets.
Probably should have used the Starstreaks launch zone which is 10°x10° but even this probably too small given the footage of the wildcat engaging sea targets from a hover without issue
