i would like to suggest unique vehicles for Israel. the Marmon-Herrington Mk.4F with 37mm SA38" for the Israeli ground force

78RowLH.jpeg

the Marmon-Herrington Mk.4F with SA38 was a modification made by the Israeli force on the Captured Marmon-Herrington Mk.4F left on the battlefield. the vehicles had been in various conditions, and the H39 had been withdrawn from services due to the incapacity of the Israeli force to maintain them in working condition, at least 1 of the Marmon-Herrington Mk.4F saw his 40mm 2-pounder gun been replaced by the 37mm SA38 gun salvaged from the H39 who withdrew from services and to be scrapped. this new gun was a clear downgrade to the 40mm 2-pounder as it could penetrate about half of the armor. but it remained an armored vehicle with a certain anti-tank capacity. The Marmon-Herrington Mk.4F chassis remained a lot more mobile than the H.39.

These modified vehicles were used in battle during the Arab-Israeli war of 1948 and withdrawn from service afterward. the vehicle was lost from the record after that (possibly scrapped or rearmed)

as it was a genuine Israeli version of the Marmon-Herrington Mk.4F, I believe it should be in the main TT to make the Israeli TT more unique.

firepower

the main armament was the 37mm SA38 gun , the gun had a decent rate of fire with 15 rounds minutes and a penetration that was a bit lackluster but still capable with 50mm at 100m using APC rounds . the turret is capable of a full rotation but very likely manual which means the speed shall be around 16° sec. the elevation being -5º/+20º is a pretty decent value for combat in a relatively flat area but not the best on uneven terrain. the turret reaching a turning speed of 16º sec would allow decent flexibility in most situations. It carries 37 rounds** for the 40mm gun which is not that much but enough. there is also a coaxial M1919 7.62mm Browning machine gun. an additional LMG was also mounted on the roof.

Mobility

the Marmon-Herrington Mk.4F enjoys great mobility. with his Ford Mercury V8 liquid-cooled gasoline providing 95 hp at 3600 rpm, the Marmon-Herrington Mk.4F could reach 84 km/h on the road . at the full load the vehicle weight 6756 kg the engine would still give it a power-weight of 14.07 hp/tonnes . this shall make it a pretty good vehicle for the flanking and getting to the key position first.

Protection

the armour is not the best asset of this armored car. been rather light, the armour reach 12mm at the front an only get to 6mm everywhere else the roof is 4mm only . this would mostly just protect it from LMG fire but even there, the armoured car could let some bullets penetrate. in case of need, the Marmon-Herrington also has 2x smoke launcher on the turret to provide some smoke cover to retreat or hide his maneuver. The crew of 3 men includes a driver, a gunner, and a commander.

A cool looking armored vehicle, it would look great as a small reward for an event vehicle or a small prize for a battle pass! +1 please
