I have something that could be solutions for those who do not like to play matches longer than 5 minutes.
Gaijin should make a map size 20m x 100m, pure flat, like a desert or asphalt. So, when players spawn faster shooting bring Winn!!!
Where is tactical play if u cut map just because map have one point to take, instead of three?
I am older person, and I notice that younger players in their real life are not able to listen music album till end. They skip melodies after a minute. Same is with game. Map is cut, shrinked. Red zones, striped, nonsence.
Make that tanks have fuel limits, so they can also refuel at spawn or capturing point. So what if someone go around? People are forced to go direct at small maps, where is tactic?
Then also, what is the point of trees and bushes? Logically is that player can hide behind of it. But there is no logic that players with low graphic setup play against players who use regular setup. It is a regular cheating and again related to tactic, if someone is hidden in forest then he should be visually hidden. Of course, that someone can see you by thermal googles but if we have trees to just be on the map for decoration…
Or just make that people can chose to play on small, regular or big maps.
Personally I can wait 5 to 10min to game join.
gaijin doesn’t care if you can wait 5-10 minutes. Their main priority is low queue times and maximizing the number of games a player can play in a day. So it will always be short matches and small maps. Gaijin’s excuse is “go play sim”

Playing sim do not change situation that certain visual obstacles do not do their job at any of the maps.
Shrinked map is not ok, technically many things are not ok.

here is case that I pay premium, but service for money is not good. Like Italians say " we can sell s***t in the nice package"

It’s why War Thunder has all options to multi-spawn in ground.
It’s why War Thunder has PVE elements in air battles.
It’s why War Thunder’s average map size has increased from 1.3x1.3km in 2016 to over 2x2km today.
An area increase of over 200%.
Tanks with fuel limits would change nothing, because in order to run out of fuel in the lowest range fuel tank, you have to constantly drive for over 8 hours.
The match length is 25 minutes.

When I was mentioned, map shrinking, I was talk about already existing map on which instead 3 points we have 1 point, map is same only dimension is not because map is cutted almost to half looking from left to right… we can say that is not same map, well that is “bs”. Map is same size is not. than all game look just on fight in corridor.
Forget fuel, my mistake.
If it is aim of the game “go quickly kill all, camp the spawn quickly” than is wrong.
If we talk about money, silver lions, gold, premium than we talk about mutual greed of players and Gaijin.
I can dislike 2 maps and that it is. After that it is lottery which map is next, tight or big
