MAP BANNING (because 1 is not enougth but 4 are to many)

Map banning for premium players, when it was introduced, was a very nice feature. However, with the introduction of more and more maps, it has lost almost all relevance, especially because maps that are very similar are usually paired, like (Seversk and Test Site). Therefore, having an additional ban could make the game less frustrating.

An equally problematic issue that has always prevented this from happening was the combined ban of a four-man squad. With strategy, they can eliminate four maps from the pool, which would become eight with the increase. Therefore, I suggest removing this feature and only leaving the ban to the squadron leader while still leveraging the banned map as a stronger dislike to try to avoid playing it.

In my opinion, this can only improve the player experience, considering that most of the time you are at best in a two-man squad.

Dislike doesn’t do sh*t. Blame the map design, especially fields of Normandy and Poland

I dislike Aral Sea, I got Aral sea 3 times in a row but different config. Disliking map is only there for Gaijin to see what kinda map player like and maybe or maybe not remove it from the rotation.

I believe they changed the way map bans work in squads. Now, only the leader’s ban applies.

Is this really how it works? I’ve always assumed the whole group used the matchmaking settings of the squad leader.

Ive had this convo not so while ago and in the original devblog for the feature it was said that dislikes should decrease the likelyhood of getting that map.

Not saying they do, quite opposite, just random tidbit I felt like sharing.
