Many top tier aircraft are overperforming in energy retention

It might be but they keep ignoring them for no reason, they still didn’t say a word about the su27 report made by giovanex (it has been more than a month since he posted the report), i don’t know tbh

It got not approved 10 hours ago because of previous reports, I already contacted @Gunjob since in my report i’ve used the weight indicated by the dev answer of the other report.

I am unsure as well, from what I’ve seen it would mean all aircraft except maybe a few ones (I know the 29 may be in the list since Giovanex did the report) are heavily overperforming.

It would be a detailed breakdown of why every aircraft is overperforming. All of this due to a simple yet fixable error.

I don’t know how much time it would take to fix tho.

Maybe people like @RideR2 could help ? They have a few good reports down the line about sustained turn rate

That’s just straight up pathetic honestly, tf are they doing.

Gaijin ways of accepting bug reports is strange… to say the least

No need to get angry, there’s a ton of bug reports around because of the dev server, plus maybe I am the one that misunderstood something (although devs said both 2600kg fuel and 20200kg total weight which i both used, so idk)

I don’t think one can make an “overall” bug report. Either the devs see this thread and decided to do something from there or one would need to report the planes 1 by 1, which would kinda suck balancing wise as some planes would get nerfed earlier and some later.
That’s especially for 3rd gen stuff, 4th gen could already be reported without too much issue

I see, I see I find it kinda lame that an overall bug report can’t be made, it’s such a BIG issue itself.

3rd gen balancing could be a big issue as well if anyone would go for 1 by 1 reports.

Although I’d love to see a fix soon, I assume our best take is to show this thread to an admin or wait for them to see it. Hopefully forwarding it to the devs

Lol mb it’s just that my patience with gaijin is running out, lots of issues accumulated throughout these years and they take a lot of time to just start paying attention to them. The fact that took them a month to recognize your report is super disrespectful imo, even if you got something wrong about it, a month is just too much and back then the devblogs didn’t even start.

Is this why the Gripen always seems like its using an AB flight model in RB mode? That little pest is so god damn oppressive to try and dogfight that I just avoid merging with them at all costs now.

Interesting read. Thanks for the time and effort put into this.

Gaijin should really look into it. Even of you don’t know the hard math behind it or the specific numbers on some aircraft you can definitely tell there’s something off about it. If I had to guess it’s because of the way flight models and such variables are calculated in game but I have no clue how they’ve actually programed it so I can’t say for sure. I really want to see more realistic performances in the game.

I’m also afraid of overcorrection, especially with the recent FM “updates” in mind.

Looks like it’s going to be 1 by 1… 4th gen is doable, 3rd gen is impossible to report all of them (especially because some of them don’t have sources, where tf do I find E-M diagrams for J-7Es for example???).

i really appreciate your effort man, thanks for everything.

Looks like all the reports about incorrect turn rate have been labeled “not a bug” for various reasons. Is there anything else we could do?
