Many bug reports aren't as difficult to fix as they are made out to be. Seriously, just fix them

Many times, when we bring up a but report that has not been fixed for years, we know the answer;

“This is a complex topic that requires investigation. It can’t just be fixed right away.”

This was the answer given in regards to Challenger 2’s missing lower front spall liner, for example. That “modern armor is a very complex matter” and that “it takes time for the developers to review and verify them”.

So let’s see- since there appears to be extreme difficulty for Challenger 2’s spall liners, here, let me lend a hand;

(This picture also shows that the UFP spall liner should be split in two pieces instead of being just one.)

I can’t help but to wonder; what exactly justifies years of “investigations” and “reviews” when the evidence is so clear and obvious?

And this is merely a single example, but it goes for WAY too many bugs that suffer the same fate as this one, such as Type 10’s broken steering, which is a technical bug that should not require anything but a heads up and not even long and detailed reports have been enough anyway.

“Forwarded and being reviewed” for years. What do we have to do to get vehicles fixed when not even bug reports that do all the job for free and put it on a silver plate are enough?

I’m waiting for the default plane controls to not be abhorently broken… Makes flying planes a real pain.

But I’m also waiting for the squadron member list to stop re-sorting on its own every 10 seconds… Makes managing the squadron a real pain.
