Interesingly small aerodynamic surfaces does not prevent 9M127 Vikhr to pull 15G (iaw datamines).

I find it cute in all of this the devs/mods have not popped in one single time to defend themselves, and have yet thus far not made a single peep, which says mountains more than any words could in their silence.
Quite sad, really…
They know they’re wrong, but can’t/won’t accept it, or just want to gaslight the community into accepting their decisions, which are arbitrary for gameplay reasons or just pride.
Who knows at this point what is goin on up there, but it’s anything but realistic.

Why Gaijin is wrong about the Stinger (it should be 20g in game)

As everyone knows Gaijin recently posted a dev blog explaining their decision to give the Stinger a 13g overload in game. Their view is that the Stinger uses single channel control (which is correct), and that the documents giving a maximum overload of 20-22 g “indicate the peak overload achieved at the moment when the rudders are in the manoeuvre plane” and that as a result the average overload of the missile will be 63% of the peak overload (13 g). FYI, the RSS seeker being referred to is the MIM-72G’s seeker which is similar if not identical to the Stinger POST (every stinger in the game) seeker.

Well it’s only fair the moved the Stella to 10.0 something had to take it’s place.

I have no issue with a vehicle taking its place what i have issue with is a 10g missile being given a stealth buff by allowing it to orientate itself after launch to perform better at closer ranges… Meanwhile the stinger now a 16g missile of essentially the same design gets no such luxury.

What’s sad is their is nothing we can do, they themselves said that the source we provided say the stinger pull more g’s but it’s impossible for another nations missile to out pull a Russian missile in their eyes.
