MANPADS Missiles and Overload: The Technical Details

Not afaik

Honestly wouldn’t surprise me if the truth of it was some amount of Russian benefactors that influence these decisions. This series of devblogs inadvertently exposed their inconsistencies when dealing with modern tech and I’m expecting there’s a major backlash that affects top tier coming soon.

Well, it did not afaik

oh by the way this is prime example of why primary source doesn’t matter. “primary source” is just an excuse for not doing/ doing something. No matter what you find about the leopard’s or the Abram’s or the Leclerc 's armor values it won’t change.

this isnt about primary sources, this is about gaijin thinking igla’s and mistrals are “similar” because the aerodynamic surfaces are similar when that simply is not how any of this works, it all comes down to the logic and internal systems how such surfaces are effected, but the fact they ignore there OWN source just because “igla’s suck so mistrals must too” is honestly the the most idiotic logic ive seen from gaijin in the last 7-8 years of playing

But we can have fantasy nerfs because Gaijin feels like it, apparently

yeah. As I have said Gaijin has on idea how any of these things work. They have on idea how missiles work just like they have no idea how composite work. And I totally agree, totally flawed logic on their part.

So, correct me if I’m wrong, but it looks like Gaijin thinks Western MANPADS use the same bang-bang guidance instead of an alternating dual/single plane system as the missile rotates?

And they think this because a Soviet missile (which had notably inferior technology available, especially computer chips) was not able?

and buffs too. There is no evidence that Abrams loader can load a 120 every 5 seconds. (while there is proof for its upgraded hull armor and OF COURSE Gaijin will deny that)

“We assume the Stinger is bad”
“We assume the Leopard 2A7V is worse than the Strv 122”
“We assume the Abrams hull armor is bad”

But:
“We assume Yak 141 could have carried X weapon”
“We assume the TURMS can fire 3BM42”

  • Russia has better thermals than they should
  • T-80BVM and T-90 have faster vertical traverse than they should
  • The 2S38 is an SPAA classed as a light tank so it has infinite APFSDS unlike OTOMATIC

Bruh, I really liked the roadmap and economy changes that were done together with the community.
But no we are back to this :(

Hey gaijin atleast put links into that sources that you guys are publishing wily nily, saying that this how it should be and let us see if that .ru pops up.

Common sense? Okay one moment.

Read this, then argue back.

Somehow before even reading the content of the post I knew it was another ‘‘here’s why NATO sucks in our game’’ explanation post that doesn’t really explain anything.

We believe that

I remember those exact same words when talking about the Abrams hull armor as wel

We’ll explain why we believe that hull armor was not reinforced.

We don’t believe that it’s possible to further enhance the protection

We’re closely monitoring the data and believe that at the moment, there’s no need for an increase to the current Battle Rating threshold for aviation from 12.3 to 12.7

Also

With this assumption

No one actually wants to know what you believe or what you assume, we want you to stop assuming things and stop enforcing your own beliefs since they’re clearly not in the best interest of game and vehicle balance.

You deny practically all sources presented by the community and dismiss almost anything that isn’t actually classified information but then justify more than questionable aspects of the game because you believe and you assume it to be so, like how you assume NATO spends trillions of dollars and decades of development to make worse vehicles, and NATO cannot possible do something better than Russia despite documentation suggestion otherwise, but you just believe or assume it to be so.

So what these past few blogs have showed us is that gaijin clearly thinks they are smarter than any military or government in the world and know their own tech better than said militaries do.

What a joke.

and its that logic that makes games/devs get to big for there boots and someone comes in later down the line and takes the crown, gaijin dont have a competitor so feel like they can pull stunts like this and then wonder why the community review bombed last time over the economy. take that logic elsewhere because its a toxic logic

So… Because the Igla can’t, there’s no way the Stinger or Mistral can?

This is literally the Western Technology meme of the dude swinging an AK at a drome lol

so the type 91s dont get upped alongside the stingers? also the whole “they possibly couldnt perform better than the 9M39” part is very telling off how this company operates

Ordinary ignorance in technical matters, nothing more
