Well we dont have the spike NLOS because it because it literally outranges every other helicopter missile in game by 3-5 times… There is simply no reason to add it when you have the ER2 which is in the same class as the JAGM-MR, BA11 or the LMUR

LMUR is th best and not the same class.
Range wise they are equal, the only issue that something as the JAGM-MR has is the flight profile, otherwise they are similar, with a proper loft, the damage difference is not huge.
Now - leaving aside mixed battles for a moment - the MITL functionality would once again underline the importance of changes in WT’s ground targets across modes: We now have aircraft and weapons that span the timeframe of literally a Century, but still have very few, very simple, often area-based targets with little variety that may be suitable for WW2 at best.
“Cruise missile style” weapons like SLAM-ER, but also precision weapons like AGM-130 and heavy GBU’s are typically weapons used against structures, not for Close Air Support, but in WT we simply have very few viable targets for those weapons.
I really hope dev’s eventually will also improve WT on that end: We admittedly get quite spoiled with the additions of new vehicles, technologies, weapons - but the whole Battlefield has seem almost zero changes/improvements since the Beginning of WT over a decade ago…

It’s a wider problem that could be solved with something similar to Nuclear Escalation but without nukes. Large map + EC + IADS + ground and air targets. I think “Aerial warfare” was the running name for a mode like this.

At top tier air is too strong. Despite all SPAA additions, KH-38 and LMUR volleys are to powerful. I’d like loadout restrictions. If the typical ground team is around 10 players (more or less), you can’t have jets which might wipe out half the team with one volley.
It works for WW2 BR brackets. FIghters and strike aircraft have 1-3 bombs. It reqires close range passes and single drops. Except Yak-9k its not too deciding. More an annoyance. Big bombs have been nerfed.
But at top tier? Suchoi climbs, fires off its volley of cruise missile like AGMs. They loft into space and crash down towards 6 targets to take them all out? Its too powerful and involves zero risk for the pilot, since he easily dives to the deck and escapes after minimal exposure to enemy AA systems. Same for DIRCM LMUR spamming helis.
These can turn the match in seconds. Its not healty and unfun. Maybe loadout should be restricted to two for this cruise missile like AGMs.

I wonder if maybe in the future the issue of multiple guidance types will be fixed, kinda pointless to add a ordnance with only 1 of 3 available guidance modes available. Same goes for many different PGMs, it seems they are lacking capabilities in implementing such a “difficult” system.

Agreed. All the possible new vehicles, weapons or mechanics mean nothing if the context they are being used in never changes. Heck, the gameplay is identical regardless of BR.
This is pretty much my only reason why im only barely touching WT at the moment, the vehicles are fine, but after 2 matches im bored

Im pretty sure that only USA (maybe Britain for F/A-18F) will get GBU-53 since its only integrated on F15E, Super Hornets and F35

US never used F-16V, IIRC they are upgrading their current F-16 to block 70 standard and these upgraded F-16 are called F-16 Block xy PoBIT

Don’t waste your time. No HARMS, CBU’s, and planes with more missiles will just shoot all your amraams down until they fix mcm.
There is no shortage of Chinese tech that could be added. The ROCAF’s own F-CK-1 is a long overdue aircraft that has not been added yet. F-16V feels very low effort.
