Fixing T64’s hull should impact the textolite modelling which SHOULD spill over to other vehicles.
What does this change consist of?
Well this report asks to fix the T-64 series armour, the hull contains textolite(known to be overperforming), and the turrets contain another material. Overall it’s a nerf across the board, but the interesting question is how will this effect vehicles that also use textolite…
So the report is based on setting the resistance of the textolite so that it doesn’t have excessive protection?
That report itself is purely the protection offered overall, but the way to fix that should be to change the composite components… we shall see

T-64B has less hull armor than T-72A?💔
T-64A: 305mm LOS (0.135x textolite)
T-64B: 400mm LOS(?)
T-72A/M1: 360mm LOS or 300mm flat (0.19x textolite)
T-72A/M1(1984): 405mm LOS or 335mm on flat (0.19x textolite)
(the textolite difference can be explained by the difference in layering or slight differences in steel choice)

…yeah, we need decompression asap.
Let’s hope they apply it to all models with Textolite, although I’m almost certain that since the report only affects the T-64, they won’t review anything else, and will leave the T-64s with historical armor while the others remain the same.
PS: Interesting that the L7 gun with the L28A1 and L52 could penetrate the T-64A at 500 meters

Finally, it’s about time their massive overperformances are being fixed
Clearly this means the T-64A can go back to 9.0 and the T-64B can go back to 9.3.

It would also be interesting if the C2A1 and Leopard 1A5 received the DM63, the Strv103C its equivalent of the DM63, and the AMX-30B2 Brenus the OLF105G2 (in addition to its actual ERA resistance). The M60A1 RISE (passive) should receive the M833, the M60A3 the M900A1, the M735 its actual penetration, the 3BM25 and 3BM21 their actual 60° penetration, the T-55 and T-64 AM their actual armor, and all tanks with textolite armor had less (actual) protection.
I would prefer to use the Leopard 1A5 with its actual ammunition and penetration against a T-80U, T-72B, or T-90A with their actual armor, rather than how the game currently stands.
