I honestly think that the game is transitioning into “Battlefield slop” since the soldiers have infinite sprint. I think you could let Arcade Mode keep infinite infantry sprint, but please, in Realistic Battles or Simulator Battles, make the sprint duration much shorter like it is in real life. Also, it would feel much more realistic if the infantry did not use a traditional view-model gun. Instead, using a True Body System like Bodycam would make it way more realistic, especially with no crosshair in Simulator Battles. Remember, this is just my opinion.
RB/Sim:
True Body System
No infinite sprint
Make sniper rifles cost 20–30 SP, assault rifles 10–20 SP, and pistols 5–10 SP
Make the weapon weight realistic so that if you carry something like three weapons, your sprint is very short due to the weight
Now see the topic was about running, we did not mention drugs innit so you are drifting away from the debate because that is your only fallacy to use, This debate never included use of drugs i though we were debating for how long a soldier can run?, do not debate if your only fallacy is to shift the conversation to others topics like drug use focus on one main topic.
why do all those people wish to play slow and boring game. My god go play Naval, make some online there! Its AS slow as it gets. WT Infantry is already falling behind better PvP shooters as uses much of Enlisted movement and looks sloppy and sluggish. No need to further make it worse.
i agree about making it worse and slower on ab and rb but maybe on sb it has those features what do you think? i just wanna know if the player base likes it or not
Actually, this in and of itself is a straw man fallacy, he used the word drug as a metaphor, adrenaline is not a drug, and as such, you have exaggerated his argument.
On Sim having more detailed damage model (like in Active Matter of their own) for example sonds better. Yet its just too difficult to implement it in different game modes like that, and i dont think they will bother. Tho having limited sprint in sim sounds interesting, but on its own its just too little of change
