If you had to get let’s say 3-5 kills or lots of assists or caps in order to spawn 1 helicopter / jet, the CAS spam would be very much less present at top tier, making the games bearable.
I was surprised to find out that with 1k SP (1-2 kills ?) I could spawn a helicopter AND a jet afterwards. That’s crazy.
Right now, sp cost for taking secondary weapons is a simple check of what is the “most advanvced” weapon you have and adding that weapon-type’s sp cost.
Leads to the dumb fact that taking one agm65 would be the same cost as 6.
Having each missile/bomb/ect cost sp on its own would make the cost of max load outs higher while pushing people to make more unique loadouts.
But then, that would add the problem of spawn camping, what stops me from taking my 680sp plane (with IR and ARH missiles) and camp enemy spawn point and airfield, now I have effectively camped any planes that spawned with CAS loadouts and with 680sp I killed multiple 760-968sp CAS planes
now add what you want to do, lower CAP SP cost and increase CAS SP costs, and suddenly the gap is even wider
CAP isn’t just slightly better than SPAA, it is miles better than SPAA (if we don’t count IRIS-T SLM)
Cannon belt cost has been removed allready.
And no in bloody hell free A2A missiles. It will just lead on mica dominating anything aerial from enemy team.
Basic IR missiles are allready very cheap cost.
Also , having helos with IR missiles should also be made sp cost, instead free spawn.
That is bit of an issue, especially when planes having 2 TV missiles cost same as 6.
But this would also lead having very good cas plane on top tier , loading 2 or 4 tv’/ir and still be huge threat.
But this when gaijin decided to give “free” spaa to everybody has also made some games useless to even fight when there is 8 players left on team and 4-6 is just sitting in strelas on spawn…
I got a fully loaded apache the other day off a scout and an assist in the type 16 just because a terminator shot me a few times before he killed me lmao.
At some point, everyone will have a top tier jet + top tier helicopter to use after dying on the ground. Meaning there will be 32 CAS per team (16 players) in each game, at least. 64 CAS total in a game is crazy.
Laser missile loadout on helos are cheap.
And you can also spawn immediately on game on chinese helo, having maximum on 8 Ty90’s and deny ever flying from enemy team
Yeah, those are best AA missiles on any helo and even better compared on many missiles on jets.
Heck yoy can even spawn RAH66 with 16 stingers right on start
