cause 16 players per team is stupid as hell i dont have enough flares to counter that many people plus i dont have eyes in the back of my head while i dogfight someone

6 vs 6 is small. It would likely get taken over by squads and Gaijin has said that these much smaller teams will be saved for tournaments or events.
10 vs 10 is much more feasible for balance.
But yes. 16 vs 16 is absolute trash and was the worst addition ive seen to Air since 2013.
