Make keen vision give passive enemy marks or give all tanks weak scouting/spotting

This is a very bad idea. It waters down the value of light tank scouting, and also makes it that much more likely kills get third-partied if you fail to one-tap.

I get it, the average player has about as much attention span as a goldfish, with the "don’t move. its vision is based on movement." mentality. But this goes well and above overkill to try and compensate for that.

First we had people trying to turn rb in sim. Now we have someone trying to turn rb in arcade.

Hell no, it just feels like nameplates from CoD and BF, a lazy way of spotting people for casuals.

“Keen vision” already gives such indicator. When there is an enemy outside your line of sight, a tiny red arrow will point in the direction of the enemy, that’s already good enough.

Personally I’d prefer Keen Vision giving SPAA in RB short distance lead indicators on aircraft. This distance increases as you level up the skill. Obviously it should never be as good as radar, but it’d make non-radar SPAA a little better.

I’ve suggested this multiple times. Have it so the more you fire at one aircraft the more accurate the marker becomes too, with a higher skill leading to faster accuracy increase. The marker can reset when changing targets.

This stimulates a trained crew using their onboard analogue systems and calculating lead, something we can’t really do accurately in game.

Go play arcade man

PLAY AB, Easy as that end on convo

Well, I play arcade, just because of spotting enemies.

But my eyes hurt after few battles and even than I can’t spot many enemies. I can on open field or desert maps. But maps with vegetation, no way…

I don’t know, am I stupid, blind, or something else. I was watching at YT people spot tank at 1 km even if just very top of turret is visible.

So I was thinking something like this, bug again, we would get same thing as arcade.
And this makes a big difference, especially with light armored vehicles. With Nashorn or ASU-85 in arcade, I am dead within few minutes. In realistic, I manage to score some hits.

Go arcade.

I admire the positiveness of trying to force changes to the game but I think the game has a scouting mechanic already. The game is locked into being a quite basic shooter and it’s obvious Gaijin don’t want to get away from that.God knows we have all tried.

I think all efforts really need to be on fixing those dreadful maps and reversing the changes of the last couple of years.Everything else seems secondary by a big margin despite some good ideas. Gaijin really dont need any more reasons to skip that issue,it’s the big elephant in the room.

Something like this would be great. Just need to work out what the minimum and maximum distances of these indicators to ensure they’re not too overpowered.

Your poll is incomplete. It’s missing a “no this is a stupid suggestion” option.
