Make it possible to take out truck carries SPAA’s such Pantsir and IRIS-T by crashing an UAV into it’s windshield. It would be fair deal because it’s not only realistic, but you also trade your UAV which you can only reload at capture point and it takes 45 seconds. Would add a whole new game mechanic and playstyle. Light tanks would be able to trade their ability to scout from above so they can support ther team’s airforce and SPAA’s would have to worry about UAV’s too, but they could easely take them down too, so it would be balanced.
Please, no off topic or trolls. If you don’t liek the suggestion, please clarify why and please make reasonable points, thanks.
If you don’t want it please clarify how is it such a bad idea. If you’re SPAA player and just don’t want it to keep your gameplay easier, please understand that there are other players that would love having this in game. Also, note that it would be balanced because it only can take out extremely light armoured vehicles such SPAA’s and even if the capture point is 100% secured, in perfect conditions you could do that only one in 1.5 minutes, considering the time it takes to travel to the target. So realistically, each light tank player (around 3-5 in each team) would have 1-2 opportunities to do that and only if such target is avalible and only if they don’t get shot down.
How are you asking for no trolls when you bring this kind of topic, is a joke waiting to be laughed at, how is supposed a small motor, a motherboard and a camera cause overpressure capable to knockout all other crewmembers, can you explain this in detail, Scout UAV are not equipped with any explosive warhead.
This is not realistic at all, if you could explain in better details how crashing one Scout UAV at a armored windshield can cause the complete disable of the vehicle rather than losing, maybe, one crewmember will help people understand your point and your siggestion.
Usually these trucks in-game at least have armored windshields of about 20 mm, you’re expecting a High Explosive Incendiary Tracer ammunition, which has about 20g of TNT (in the best of cases 30g) to overpressure?
To successfully overpressure most vehicles you need around 200g of TNT equivalent, some vehicles may survive to this (e.g. Pz. VIII Maus and PzJg. Ferdinand which has at least two crewmembers separated from the rest at a secure distance if you don’t hit the ammo).
Which they could if they were equipped with any warhead or modified IED device inside, which UAVs don’t have.
Autonomous or any other kind of drones that are not equipped to these kind of tasks: to explode; can’t explode at all, there are only wires, some steel for the structure, electronics and other few pieces like the camera.
