When did I say other trees couldn’t get stuff every update?

The M1A1 FEP would have good thermals in general but worse armor than the SEPv2. The M1A1 SA has the armor level of the M1A2 SEPv2 and many of the features of the FEP. They both should be added.
Two versions of the FEP can come, one with Trophy and one without it.
Would be nice if all nations could get some stuff every update… tbh in my opinion gaijin should make major updates at a much lower rate (once per 9 or 12 monthes), but make the updates much bigger, more complete and balanced out. For example, instead of a small set of nations dominating the top br for few updates until the others get their equivalents, everyone gets their top tier jet at the same time. That also allows an easier decompression

US can easily get an aesa f-16/f-15c/e/fa18c and it would still be worse than rafale

agreed, we know they are capable of pumping out tons of content. if they had to make it 50/50 because they can’t quite make enough that would be fine too.

Never understood why they give Israel 1 vehicle per update. Just finish out the tech tree, so when they inevitably go to add a new nation, they don’t have to spend more resources trying to give new stuff to 11 nations every update.
Who cares.

that would be too low. IMO they should expend their crew, Gaijin is still really a small company, and seems they haven’t expend the Warthunder team much for long time.
1 vehicle per update is already optimistic lol.

I respect that, I just personally prefer less updates but more complete and squared up over a stream of stuff that is added fast for the sake of it and compensated later. I’ve also observed that the healthiest game communities I’ve been part of had a dev philosophy of building the updates properly and releasing only when it’s really ready, and taking their time

Right now I think missile/seeker fixes and lots of small additions to a simple upgrade like AESA F-15C would bring it sufficiently on par. Fixed seeker 120C-5 with BOL, SNIPER ATP A2A or LEGION IRST, and AESA on the F-15C seems like it would be very nice to play
Honestly, I’d rather get no content in an update, than getting an update where you only add one vehicle to a nation, and it’s a premium one.
They said they want to add new nations the new Norwegian Mossie and now the Canadian Spit have opened the doors for a whole host of new vehicles where previously they be wouldn’t even dreamed of being added.
Right, but the problem is how slow it takes them to flesh out tech trees. It doesn’t matter if they add a new tech tree, there has been a decrease in content per update over the past couple years, despite gaining more players and making more money. They need to expand their development team or something.
They can’t rush things with nations like this as you’ll ran out of stuff very quickly
I honestly don’t see a problem with running out of things to add to a nation. It means that once a nation is complete, you can move on to the next? Especially something like Israel, which is sort of a minor nation. There are still several countries which could fill out an entire tech tree (or far more than Israel) on their own, which are only represented by a vehicle or two in game. Based on how Gaijin seems to operate, we would almost need a nation to get filled out just so we could get another one, or else you would have to spread more content out over more nations. Either finish a nation so you can move on, or expand your development team so you can make more content.

Eh… That interval is too long. War Thunder is sustained by new content.
What they could do with is a major update where no new vehicles are added, but instead they direct all their time and energy to A) fixing the mountain of major issues existing vehicles have. B) adding new features to existing vehicles such as AESA and C) polishing existing game mechanics.

only nation that is truly done is japan, they wont get anything new till f-35. unless they add prototypes and proposed vehicles or they add thailand gripen e which they didn’t put into service yet
