IRIS-T SLM when it works is really good at close range, however it struggles with anything closer than 2km unless its a recon drone or helicopter.
makes sense, in that 2km it needs to get to speed from static and keep track of a target thats moving extremley fast.
These SAM systems are in an extremley unnatural situation in war thunder with trying to intercept very closeby aircraft, they were never built or intended to do this

On the SLM side, Gaijin uses the effective range of 40km as Max Range, ok…
But we now the Missile goes Mach 3, report for the Mach 3 comes back, showing an Target 64km away… if this is fullfilled, THAN the SLM can reach Mach 3 since with an 64km target it lofts enough

Also don’t understand why battle-passes aren’t made permanent since it would be new continual revenue source for Gaijin and a way for players who missed them either because of finances at the time, lack of time, or are just new to the game can still get the vehicles.
I’m sorry but Arrowhead figured out the recipe. War Thunders battle-passes could easily be condensed down to:
2-3 x vehicles (only one premium).
2 x profile pictures
2 x wallpapers
2 x titles
2 x 500% RP boosters (no expiration)
2 x 500% SL boosters (no expiration)
1 x 100,000 SL (for crew and module costs of said battle pass vehicles)
That’s it.
Costing anywhere between $25-45 depending on the highest BR of the vehicle. Or you can spend 5,000 to say 25,000 warbonds (by adjusting the limit). But they’re permanent so if you’re short on cash this time around, that’s okay, you can always come back to it.
