fair enough, thanks
Well its not just for any new stuff, the tuning they did for the older stuff would still benefit from a 2nd dev server
got me excited for this update there i thought the type 12i was for normal warthunder since it could be added
They forgot it which is a shame, similarly to how they skipped finnish independence day last year, although fortunately we got air force day this year
Does the US even have a vehicle with an APS system? I can’t think of any off the top of my head, but I can certainly think of some that can be added.
In game not. Irl the M2A4 Bradley, M1A2 SEPv2 and SEPv3 come to mind.
It’s such a shame. Iirc only half of the nations have a tank with hard kill APS in game (I’m being generous here and count the KF41). It was such a hype feature with a lot of possibilities.
M1A2 Sepv2 never operated any hardkill APS in service. Only a small number were pretty heavily modified in order to use it.
This is incorrect.
More M1A2 SEPv2s were modified to use APS… than T-80Bs were to use thermals.
Reminder that T-80B has thermals ingame because a SINGLE vehicle was fitted with them.
XM1302 with iron fist, CATTB with trophy. I’ve also read that the XM1302 was fitted with both raven and iron fist at the same time, but haven’t seen a whole lot about it.
??
@Smin1080p_WT

You are partially forgiven, although the L-39 as domestic aircraft would be more fitting to appear and get discounted, rather than russian made but us operated Mi-24. I am totally not saying this cause i have the 24D and 25K already.
Yeah your right, i shouldve specified on a fixed wing aircraft. I don’t think they really modeled AESA being -ESA until 9 months ago though
How would one drive from St. Louis (I assume this is where they did it since thats where they make the F-15) to some base in Alaska
Major freeways, maybe 80 and/or 90, and then cross into Canada then to Alaska.
Boeing and others also use the railways to ship larger fuselages for assembly, so rail is an option too.
Interesting. Still, I don’t see why they would use rail or truck for a combat coded airframe that has to be in flying condition
I don’t think they do rail or truck often if at all fwiw. Most deliveries seem to be flown from the factory. Just talking about the how, IF, they chose to do it that way.
testing of APG-63 V2 wasn’t even done till 2002
I dont think its actually that uncommon. To transport an aircraft instead of just flying it. Might be a number of reasons for it, if nothing else security. Easy to hide an aircraft under a tarp or something, another to try and hide it landing at an airfield.
Sure full production stuff they probably wouldnt do that, but if you are talking about new tech. Its possible.
Good point but one problem. The revolutionary new technology is covered by the radome already
