russia has hybrid ESA’s they are not quite PESAs because they have multiple transmitters instead of only one
also the Mig-31 dosent have an AESA the only russian fighter with a proper AESA is the Su-57

Unironically I want the MKI in the British tree with ASTRA’s and Pythons etc.
My solution to Britains ESA problem would be to add the fixed-plate ESA CAESAR for the current term. Leaving the upgraded ECRS MK.2 with a gimble for Meteor and ASRAAM slinging jets.
Would have just over a 130 degree FoV so not too far off of other contemporary systems but with considerably more power and TRM’s.

Wouldn’t even need to model the extra pylons or HMD as the French one already has them…

Britain does have other options, but the question is Germany and Italy. Even with all possible sub-TTs and stuff, I think the Typhoon remains the only realistic option, at which point, there is no reason to exclude the FGR4 for the sake of it
and if CAPTOR-E is being excluded due to its Gimball, Does that mean no Gripen NG/E for Sweden either?

HMD on Indian one uses Israeli HMD, and they have their own RWR where there aren’t sources on their performance, so sadly too different and unknown variables…I’m sure the Russian devs know all about Su-30MKI though.
