Hey @Smin1080p_WT, if I understand things correctly, army flags will not be allowed in the new tech tree customization feature, and as it stands ROC is currently represented only by their army flag.
This bug report to replace ROC army flag with their national one was denied.

So are we left to conclude that ROC will not be available as an option, unlike all other “subnations” for a lack of a better term?

How should I submit the report? I have no trust in the “issue” section. Every time I submit, it’s always “not a bug”.
That is the only way, you will need to provide valid sources, I did it for the Challenger 3 TD and it was fixed in a few days

Perhaps it’s just because of them Excellent Confidentiality Agreement.In fact, automatic target tracking is a very mature technology in any country.
i remember seeing that it was dependent on the method of tracking?
We have already answered why several flags were removed. The feature was not final in its first iteration and army and navy flags have been removed. Everything on dev server is naturally subject to change.

Not just “subnations”, but historical flags. Just because there is multiple German nation options does not mean Gaijin is making a political statement about Germany. The same should also apply to the historically relevant national flag of the ROC, which was internationally recognized as China until 1971 and the only Chinese nation until 1949, so their national flag should be included.
The same issue also selectively affected other nations that only had military flags in game, such as South Vietnam or the Weimar Republic, so I hope Gaijin can compromise and add national flags to the customization even if the vehicles themselves use military flags.

My recent bug report on MB-326K was also accepted as suggestion, because it “contradicts” with some manual which is most likely not even for that variant.
I hope I don’t need to wait as much as for Ariete armor fix
