Since there aren’t many choices for Sweden to get a top Heli with fire and forget missiles, could the EuroCopter Tiger PT4 be considered for a new Swedish top heli? Seeing as though it was tested and evaluated in Sweden, I don’t see how it’s any different to the MI28a or AHS being pretty much fiction already… Otherwise it would seem Sweden might be left behind the rest of the nations again in CAS capabilities, not that it was ever really comparable to the rest of the nations at higher brs anyway
Id rather we not keep using tested stuff, it would be better to have people look into the Danske Sea Hawk for JAGM compatibility as thats the best and most likely option. And if it cant it cant. Its just a problem

That makes sense, as far as i can tell the Danish seahawk is only capable of carrying either 2 torpedos or 4 Hellfires so I don’t see it being particularly competitive (and frankly id probably end up using the AHS instead of it)
Well if it can be proven it can mount hellfires and guide them then it can be given JAGM for balance
Correct me of I’m wrong, but Denmark operates the MH60R, correct?

Here are a couple of sources citing that it can carry hellfires but im unsure of the reliability of the 2nd one (im staying hopeful that sweden will get something with fnf)

Yes we use those but you’ll maybe need better sources. Why not create a thread for it to try and gain some traction with other players who also want a FnF heli for sweden? So many people want it but aren’t willing to find other people to discuss it.

Afaik the sweedes actually tested the mi28… imo id like to see the ah64e that the norwegians trained on in the game. Idk if the swedes ever tested the apache but from what ive read thats only fictional

Interesting, I’m not exactly knowledgeable with helicopters, although I do enjoy playing them in warthunder so I’m very inexperienced around all this stuff

Nah let’s wait until they actually acquire and receive some of them. The Swedish heli tree is already outragious as is, no need to make it even worse.
