I don’t know if the program is going to go through with Mitsubishi anyways. Japan earlier announced a tender for possibly integrating Rafael’s Trophy, Rheinmetall’s Strike Shield, and Elbit’s Iron Fist APS’s into the vehicle along with a 30mm autocannon. The Kongsberg’s RS6 was supposedly selected for testing.
We might just have to wait. Personally I hope to see the RS6 and Iron-Fist integrated since they would significantly improve the Type 10’s performance/survivability.

any plans to model helicopter rotors for their RCS? right now the ARH SAMs struggle to hit a helicopter that just sits still it doesnt even need to multipath

For me locating helicopters wasn’t usually an issue in typhoon, even with the radar.
Issue is locking them with TGP… idk if that bug is still present, haven’t touched top tier in some months.
No its on the swedish TT they can’t have any skins, didn’t you know every other nations needs them more, well aside from isreal they only have one ither camo compared to the Swedish tree

I wonder if the 30mm is going to be a coax similiar to the T72 Moderna or in a small turret like on the lepord 2K.

Of course it isn’t. I can’t remember the last time they took player feedback into account when making changes to naval. Just look at the blog: “dying too slowly ruins the mode!!!” like ??? huh? What possibly gave them that idea?

any lightly armored vehicle is gonna have a bad day with that thing on top of the Type 10, especially if only that Turret is looking over the ridge.

I mean the PIDS is pretty useless in game, so giving it to sweden wouldn’t count as giving them something good.
Can’t use it together with A2A missiles or mavericks.

Honestly it doesn’t matter, you’re missing the fact that it gives sweden a okay CAS platform for that BR. The F18’s are mid in ground in both CAP and CAS and the Gripen is useless for multirole so this helps fill a hole.
Also the convo was more so relating to skins of which sweden has the least amount of TT rank 8 air skins at 2, 1 for the Gripen C and 1 for the MLU 2. Isreal comes close at 3 but nearly every other nation has 5 or more
