difference there, glide vs rocket powered.
SU 34 still has the GROM 2 as well
The grom 1 literaly bet any other bomber in final approach if you fired it right and stole bases from anyone else.
It in fact flew over mach 1, hell the grom 2 flies at mach 1 if used right
Like there literaly is no need to even add the Grom 1. None of the other added missles realy are similar or become equal
I still cant believe we are getting cruise missiles and we still have the same bombing mechanics we had 10 YEARS AGO!! Does Gaijin even have a gameplay department or are they just a 3d asset company that dumps those assets on a pile and calls it a video game??
At this point i dont think Gaijin as a company is capable of doing that, ive played this game since 2016 and they literally added next to nothing in terms of gameplay. Im honestly starting to believe they dont have a single employee who is a game dev and all their team can do is make 3d models and simulate physics and add on the base game they inherited from real game devs that made it in 2012
It’s truly sad, PvE modes are sorely needed, so many custom missions and scenarios that could help some strike aircraft out that have no place in ARB. Heli PvE is probably the saddest of all.
Not just PvE, even PvP game modes offer the most basic, boring and uninspired gameplay i have ever seen that utilizes so little of the many weapon systems and vehicles the game offers. And they never even tried, like not even once, all they did was add some time limited events here and there and they even REMOVED the only dynamic gameplay element from tank rb (rip the D point) a few years after release…
Gaijin so blatantly wants you to pay GE to spade helicopters it’s insulting, just pay wall them at this point (not to mention even when spaded most helis are useless because tank rb has awful game design and balance)
True, we have CRUISE MISSILES and other insane guided weaponry now but it’s not utilized in the slightest, the game is basically turning into shovelware. We might get the F-22/35 and SU-57 and we are still going to be playing in the same PvP environment of ARB, madness.
The creative bankruptcy of Gaijin is going to be their downfall, sooner or later.
Shovelware perfectly describes this game, it feels like a mod of a game that died years ago but the modders like to utilize the physics engine to add more stuff that was never meant to fit the game. Sadly people will continue paying because the number 1 reason people like playing this game is because it offers them a semi-realistic environment were they get to drive/fly around their favorite military vehicles, that is the appeal, not that the game has any interesting gameplay to offer.
Which is really sad since people like me who are already disillusioned with that the surface-level immersion get to be left with nothing, and no hope that it’ll get better as years have brought only more slop…
