I haven’t been following along too much with this update. In fact, the entire first part of the update discussion didn’t even show up for me. With that being said, I’m not sure if I’m missing information or what, but 30 vehicles is a fairly low number compared with updates over the past couple years. I don’t know what they are planning for the final update of the year, but hopefully the decrease in vehicles with this update is caused by something major in the next one. I am very glad to see that we have strayed away from an almost equal number of TT and premium vehicles coming in an update though, that is a welcomed change.
Indeed, normally updates have around 40 odd vehicles now, I’m not sure what the missing 10 could of been but my guess most likely the Singapore stuff for China
Hate to be that guy but typically it’s around high 40’s to mid-high 50’s per update. So we are short like 15-20 vehicles. I think it’s also important to note that there is very little to no copy paste, so that is also probably a big contributing factor. Kind of a sad reality that can be drawn up, if we want more vehicles per update we gotta have copy paste and closer to 50-50 split on TT-Premium.
Eh, 50 is a bit much m8 especially for a November update. Normally nowadays they aim for 40 vehicles per update so realistically 35 seems right for an November update I’m half expecting the update to come out on the 18th personally so we still got time for a couple of surprises hopefully. But yeah the November is always the most dullest one imho.
Looking back at previous updates you are correct about the November update typically being smaller, and it makes sense given how little time is between each update around this time of the year. This one in particular doesn’t really have anything of interest to me. 60mm on M113 is the only thing that sort of catches my eye. Jaguar is a cool modern piece. Sad to see no TOW HMMWV yet.
You mean like putting the autoloader inside the suspensions torsion bars just so it’s placed below the armor meant to protect it? Or how the ERA is modeled as solid slabs of multiple blocks?
But I guess at least they fixed the reload for it finally. (Clearly now it deserves 12.3 / 12.7 BR)
@AydanL44_Hunter you’re kinda right but also very wrong Morvran, the Gripen NG has quite a few versions all under the same name. We have C’s that are slightly modified and we have ones that share the larger body and stronger engine, to put it bluntly it can be a upgraded C or a Gripen E without ECM. And the NG like the E can have the extended wing design. Its up to the snail as we have seen nations like Sweden and Brazil have some E’s sporting the extended wing design like on the NG
Depends some early NG’s fit that but some late NG’s have the bigger chassis like the E so they also have the 9 hardpoints. Unfortunately when i emailed SAAB they couldn’t give me any real details
yeah gripen E should hopefully be coming next patch, curious what everyone else will be getting tho I think there was talk of the J-10C and maybe the Su35, for ground we have no idea but hopefully the Sep V3, im personally hoping for the Ajax but I dont think we will, obviously there is the thai VT-4 and M1A2T
anything else past that i have no idea there is stuff I can hope for but no real signs it will come oh yeah and subs maybe but I see them being a rather dead game mode or at least class
I hope they wait with the Su-35 for a while and release an appropriate variant together with the AESA EFT and F-15EX.
But I really do hope that the J-10C and Gripen E are the main air focus of the next major update, they deserve to be in the spotlight before being powercrept by the above mentioned jets.
However I feel like Gaijin will try to cram the Super Hornet into the focus as well, as if it’s a plane to be hyped about lol.
SEPv3, M1A2T and Challenger 3(P) are my top wishlist for top tier (CATTB too but it might be a bit too soon). Only problem is that the M1A2T and probably CR3(P) is that while they would improve the MBT situation for China and Britain, they would still be a tier behind the absolute top MBTs like the uparmored Leopards.
