i mean technically if they can receive any trialed vehicle, they can get rafale, eurofighter, f-16, mig-35, gripen ng/e, and super hornet as well. but i really hope gaijin doesnt do that lol, because as you’ve said, su30mki and rafale is more than enough

All we realy want is for sweden to receave something needed and not DOA
Don’t worry, sweden will get the Gripen NG 1 year after everyone else has received a 15.0 :p

Nah. Gripen NG is too OP. Gripen B maybe, at 14.3 with C5s instead of Bs

Hopefully we get the E this december. And then some interesting ground vehicles or a new subtree or something. But i ikow its too much to ask for sweden

By the way, in case you know, is there any differences between the Gripen E and NG? I remember someone telling me the E has ew and not the NG but I haven’t found anything on internet
From what I understand and put very simply.
The NG is basically a Gripen C with many of the Gripen E upgrades.
Whilst the Gripen E has things like a new wing and better intergration of the upgrades.
The E has likely recieved more upgrades since the original NG for things like EW, but given that isnt modeled yet (Thoug potentially hinted at to be coming) likely wont play much of an impact,
Id guess Gripen NG with Aim-9M and Aim-120 B/C5s as a largely direct Typhoon equivalent and then the Gripen E with IRIS-T and Aim-120 initially and then Meteor later.

I cant think of what else “modern air warfare technologies” could be. Especially in the context of adding tech prior to gen 5s
Yeah that would be ew (jamming and thar sorts) and aesa and newer missiles. All of the above lines up with gripen E so you are probably right

NG is like an inbetween of the C/D and E. The E is developed from the NG (Next Generation). Its a Gripen C with the E’s Engine, AESA Radar, 2 additional hardpoints, more fuel
