Given just how much push there is on LLM’s, you wouldn’t be particularly surprised if some adjacent or branch technology ends up being used.
I know that Machine Vision as an example is really struggling generally. I’m not exactly convinced AI generally speaking is about to change the face of warfare (Except for the Israelie Lavender system, but that has more to do with not caring about the systemic flaws and just caring about getting lists of targets)

I said Alphabet Inc has a massive advantage in any ML field. Doesn’t mean I think LLM is all they do, does it?

It’s really the only place AI really makes sense on a tank, and the Abrams X has a lot of sensors to process for a crew, (one of the problems discovered by militaries with the crew designed upgrades in Afghanistan was sensor overload, AI based target identification and filtering would help with that)
Not really, most systems management is already automated enough for the crew to basically not care about it in most situations. And that sort automation is best left as dumb as possible to prevent issues.
