could you change that one up since it is wrong
i just noticed i did an mobile slip and said it wrong in my initial reply with 120 mm and 130mm

keeping it as panther evo 130mm might confuse a lot people and starting to “claim” it

update where? :C

for the moment there are no “oficial” indication that the name i have is incorrect so i will not change it .
wee will see tomorow how it’s called , and if i’m wrong i will update it , unless you have an ACTUAL official statement about the tank and it’s real name.
may i precise i didn’t give it a random name (not like the leapord 2A4 with SKyranger 35) , but it was the name used by the source from witch i got the pic from

is the offical news page about rheinmetall naming and explaining what the kf 51 evo is enough?
like i said rheinmetall literaly isnt allowed to use the 2a4 chassis because its owned by knds for their kf51 evo.
They have to specialy modifiy a büffel chassis to be useable and allowed as export
This showcase of a kf51 turret on a leo 2a4 is basicaly a showcase of the possibility and the option for existing leopard users to upgrade in this way

send it

I mean they always work together, so it doesnt really matter, gun from rheinmetal, chassy from Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, there is literally no saying that they will not work with rheinmetal bcs its a stupid thing to do knowing rheinmetal make literally all guns in germany

yes. But the KF51 is supposed to be a purely rheinmetall vehicle.
They literaly are competing against knds in the next european mbt generation project and who gonna dominate the market.
Of course knds isnt gonna allow them to use the chassis

ah in that sense yes, when there is a competition between the two of them

best example, did you see the new advertised leopard from knds yet?

this one?

yes, this one currently stands in direct competition to the KF51 now.
Benefit of this one it has an already chassis for unmanned turret as well

In a sense of quickly making new mbt, knds will probably win, but in a sense of more advance and superior unit in general, Rheinmetall definitely reign specifically bcs of what kf51 is, man its autoloaded 130*mm is just too good

you are ignoring the part where the new leopard gets advertised with the possible 130mm of rheinmetall as well.

Rheinmetall needs to allow it else they loose the possible german market to use the gun to the french.
Resulting in the 140mm being favoured and possibly the whole nato caliber becomming 140mm which ends up in their cannon becomming useless

Hmmm true, well, we will se what will they decide to do, either way cant wait to see both units in action and their ammo stats if 140mm will be forwarded
