Can we all just please remember a few people with the same main factions and roughly the same opinion on things doesn’t make them a voice for an entire group of people. Let’s not put each other into unnecessary boxes.

Finally!

The dev server received a 2GiB update but I entered and found 0 difference.

I felt quite let down.

Only thing I found so far is that in an effort to fix the RWR of the F-16AM MLU, they gave it 2 RWRs by accident.

Anyways, apparently the multipathing effect was reduced to 50m, but I will have to wait for the datamines to be updated.

Imagine dealing with patriot/s300 and ARH missiles at the same time.

Finally, higher skill floor. Need a higher skill floor to please the tryhards.

Seems like some of the loading screens for the next update have been added as well.

And it seems like they are working on the namer, saaing as they removed all it’s frontal armor, like all of it.

TBH the extending of the dev server was bad news for me, I just want to get the grinding started and over with.

I think it’s still needed though. Like they still seem to heavily working on vehicles like the namer.

Sure. I sort of prefer they shut down the dev server on the 6th, work for a solid week then drop the patch. Mechanics need fixing first, stuff like “Does the Namer have the proper NERA array.” seems like just some data entry which is a lot more trivial than whatever is being done to overhaul game mechanics.

Is that a flat change to all missiles?

This would be the case if they didn’t remove all it’s armor with today’s update.

And this isn’t just the ERA/NERA question. It litterally doesn’t have any frontal armor in the armor viewer anymore.

Really wont help the try hards, would just mean top tier combat will require some modicome of knowledge about sarh missiles, which at the moment is sorely lacking. At the start people will die and complain about it, but its really not hard to properly deal with sarh missiles, it then leading to less furballs and more tactical engagements. I belive arcade is where you go to for more dog fighty gameplay with furballs and such, with rb meant to be a more realistic depiction (so not totally realistic, but enough to get a feel for it). And then sim is the trash bin where gaijin chuck all of their bad ideas.

To put it into purspective, reducing the multipathing will actually allow my tornado to face mig 29s and f16s, as before all they had to do was stay low and fire missiles after missiles, now i can notch while guiding in my missiles which will cause them to turn around or notch instead of just ignoring it.

Will probably lead to quite a few jets being moved up due to finally being somewhat usable against the more meta jets.
